Injecting long term or...?

How many of you guys injecting are doing it for the foreseeable future, and how many are just using the injections as a “stop gap” until they get an implant (ie actively planning and scheduling an implant now)?

I’m using Cialis, which works well enough for now, although responsivity is never what it used to be. But I cannot imagine myself being happy with injections for a long time, as they seem to impede spontaneity and can result in Peyronie’s and lost length. My plan is to use shots n the interim between when the pills stop working and I get an implant - under a year if possible.

Is this reasonable or am I missing something?

Well, I think it's a great plan but I am implant bias. I have used pills and injections and my sex life has NEVER been like it is now with the implant. Even the real thing was not as good because then I had premature ejaculation... not anymore both my wife and I are very happy with my AMS.

I've been injecting for a fair number of years now. I'm satisfied with the results and have no plans on getting an implant. Of course that could change but I hope not. There is definitely a learning curve to injections. If they work for you, once over the learning curve, you'll likely be satisfied. I'm a happy dick sticker.

My best understanding is that neither Peyronies or lost length is a given with injections. They are side effects that happen for some apparently small percentage of users.

If you watch the pharmaceutical ads on TV, you know that ALL medicines present a similar possibility of side effects for some users. Nevertheless, all of these medicines are prescribed by doctors and used by thousands of patients without the complications of side effects. It's a statistical reality of modern medicines.

Viagra, trimix and penile implantation all come with the possibility of side effects and/or complications. It's a risk/benefit calculation. You pays your money and you make your choice.

If we all refused any medicine that came with a possibility of a side effect, the morticians wouldn't be able to keep up.

It would be interesting of some of the long-time trimix users would weigh in on this thread. If memory serves, I've seen posts from guys who've gone past the 10-year mark without complications. I'm at four, and quite happy.

I'm almost at the 5 year point with injections, and seem to be hitting the end-of-the-road.
Right now, they are very similar to natural erections and need some stimulus to keep it up.

After ejaculating, if that happens, I get flaccid and just have the pain for a bit.

If we can't get even that to work, I'm thinking an implant with Kramer would be on the horizon.
