Very interesting topic for me, and many others I see. Thanks for starting it! I'm 71, very fit and no sexual/ED issues until began to experience ED once in a while starting around age 52. I've asked my Uro about trying tri mix but he seems to think that since the Alprostadil "does it's job" (which is enabling and producing a good erection) , my anorgasma problem is "all in my head", caused by what amounts to performance anxiety. i disagree. it seems to me to go with the drug I use in my injections, recently increased from 12 units to 18 (this morning). For solo masturbation sessions I am up to 14 from 8. The increases seem to have helped a little. This makes me suspect even more that it is in fact the drugs at the root of my extreme difficulty getting there.

My cost is very low, mailed to me by a compounding pharmacy. $175 for 4 vials that give me up to 80 doses (at my old level of 10 units per injection), 40 doses at 20 units per shot. Either way we're talking $2 to $4.50 a shot.

So all, is there any info out there tying alprosdadil to orgasm problems? What have you experienced and what have you done that makes it better? Thanks for your ideas.

Good reply. You shared a lot of background and seems like we have traveled much of the same read to get here. My wife and I are also VERY uninhibited sexually and likewise enjoy a healthy & open sex life.

Here is what I will tell you. After pills, I started with Trimix. It is amazing & consistent especially after I got through the learning curve which I got most of my education here from other men or elsewhere on the internet like YouTube. Trimix has always been more reliable and intense than Edex or Caverject, but I have gotten good response from those independently or together with Trimix as well.

As I mentioned when I started this thread, I have also mixed the two for an awesome 1 - 2 punch (see my original post for more detail). If you are only getting Alprosdadil, my insurance will cover all or most via brand names Edex or Caverject. Not so Trimix which is an injectable three-drug prescribed medication with active ingredients in the mixture which are usually alprostadil, papaverine, and phentolamine.. That formula is not covered by insurance since it's not FDA "approved" (although used widely, it's only available at compounding pharmacies).

Let me know if you ever get the Trimix. I think you will experience quite a difference.

My script of 40/30/1 Trimix cost me $125 for 10ml... 5 - 2ml vials/bottles at Lincoln Court pharmacy in Clearwater Florida. I think its a bit too strong for me as 1 and a half marks(a few drops) on my syringe which I think is equal to 0.003 is enough for a 1.5 to 2 hours rock hard erection. Last time I loaded the syringe with 25% more... 2 clicks/marks on the syringe(0.004?) I was taking Sudafed at 3.5 hour mark to help get rid of my erection. It's challenging to dial in varying doses when you can barely see it in the syringe. I'm not complaining though... I love it! I'm still on my first vial. Franktalk.org user "Newtoad" from what I've read has a similar script of 40/30/2 and appears as if he too only needs a few drops.

Cant you use sterial injectable water to double quanity to make measurment easier??
