Another new member saying hello.
A friend I know from another forum recommended I check FrankTalk out. From everything I've seen so far, this is a great place filled with a bunch of great guys! I am so glad to me a member.
I am in my mid-fifties and have struggled with ED since about 2002. I have type-II diabetes and I think that has been a lot of my problem. I have that under control now with diet and exercise, which is great.
I also have low testosterone, and have been treated for that since about 2007. When I first started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), I initially got Diamond Cutter Erections™. So I thought "Oh so that's was the problem". However it soon normalized and I was back to my regular old un-reliable erections.
I can get a decent hard-on, but it needs constant attention or it will fade really quickly.
In the last few months, the viagra I was taking stopped working. So I saw my doctor this past Monday and asked about injections. I've done my first test injection at the doctor's office of bi-mix. I didn't get totally hard, only about 40%, but the guy who taught me to inject said my reaction looked really good. I will get my bimix around Wednesday of this week, very excited to do my second injection on my own.

Good luck,
it looks promising, let us know how it turns out. Have you rechecked the testo, and do you get injections or creams, or gels for the testo?

Re: Hello everybody!
Hello Dave: Thanks for the reply.
Everything is looking very good hormone wise. We did bloodwork before my appt, because I was thinking maybe my estrogen levels were too high. We keep my test levels in the high normal range, as we both thing I was a high-normal back when my testicles were fully functioning.
I inject 1ML/200mg of Testosterone Enanthate a week. I divide the dose and inject 1/2 on Monday and the other 1/2 on Thursday. We also added low dose human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) to my protocol back in early December. That turned my balls back on so they could make the other things that testicles make. I have been feeling really terrific since we added that, back to my old self.

Yes, I'm really lucky to have my doc. Best thing about him is that he actually listens to me. It was my idea to try the hCG after doing some research. He called a few colleagues and said "let's do a trial."
