I am getting mine on 9/6! We’ll have to compare notes as it unfolds.

Who is doing your surgery. Are you going with a Coloplast or an AMS?
Implanted by Dr. Hakky on August 6th, 2018 Coloplast 22 cm. Genesis pump failure 8/17/19. Revision 9/10/2019. Genesis pump failed 2/27/2020 while having sex. Second revision scheduled 4/7/2020 with new Titan One Touch pump instead of Genesis

I'm going under the knife on the 8th. They have a day nurse scheduled to come to my house every day for two weeks.I am not confident that what I was first told will pan out. I asked for the surgery to be done in July when my wife was at home. It's outpatient surgery, you don't need her at home, you'll do just fine. I think the truth must be somewhere in between. But I'm hoping on you'll do just fine and that the extra precaution is just that, a precaution.

1roofer,
I will be getting a coloplast titan due to my advanced Peyronies. Dr. Laurence Levine in Chicago is doing the procedure.

Mk1965,
I actually don’t know a anything about the insurance side. The office never mentioned that it would be an issue. I might call on a Monday to see if there is any concern, but they haven’t given me any reason for pause
45 years old. Diagnosed with Peyronies over 5 years ago. Successfully implanted on 9/6/18 with a Coloplast Titan 18 cm + 3 cm RTEs 4.5”-1st Activation, 6.25” three months of cycling. Dr. Levine. Chicago, Illinois

Good luck for tomorrow, Roofer!

I hope and pray that you get the optimal result; losing minimal length if any, tips right up as far as safely possible and minimal pain.

I really hope that this is a massive turning point for you and that you get great satisfaction from your new implant.

I really hope that you'll provide us with regular updates.

All the best, dude.
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

What level will the pain be post-implant? Definitely plan on taking my pain pills & laying flat for a few days. Lucky to have an Air BnB for 3-4 days after the procedure.

Any insight on tips or expectations would be greatly appreciated

1Roofer,
First, best wishes on Monday.

My primary tip is go into this with positive thoughts. Don’t be expecting pain or problems. I believe in mind of matter. My recovery was quite easy compared to some guys. I never needed a pain pill. Ice truly is your friend so I hope your Air BnB will have good freezer space and you have time to stock it prior to surgery. I live in suburban ATL so if you find yourself in a bind or need someone to talk to, let me know.

Does the size fully pumped in a VED reflect what may be the size post-op?

The first implant was easier then the revision. The revision took a little longer to heal because I became a border line diabetic. And my scrotum turned almost black after the surgery. But by applying ice packs it helped get the color back to normal and the swelling.

Not sure what time your surgery is this morning, but wanted to wish you well today and let you know I am thinking of you.
