Penile clamp

Postby pbbraun » Mon Aug 06, 2018 12:56 pm

Bought a penile clamp from amazon. It clamps on the penis and puts pressure on the urethra.
Seems to work well. Anyone with experience with this? Any problems using it.

Do keep us posted. I might give that a try.

I bought the WIESNER model from Amazon as a precaution after my SBRT treatment for PC. But I didn't have any incontinence issues from the treatment so I never used the clamp. Did try it on once and seemed like it would work well in an emergency.

I would be very cautious about trying that clamp with a penile implant. I think it could damage the tips or cylinders of the IPP.

Is the Weinberg comfortable. Or does it hurt.

The Wiesner model? It's very adjustable, has a racheting closure so it will stay in place without much pressure on the penis until you actually need it. Then you can tighten it as needed to control any dripping. I didn't wear it long enough to really comment on comfort, but I do believe it could handle a situation where you need extra time to find a bathroom, like maybe driving somewhere. I think anytime the urine flow is stopped at the tip of the penis is going to be less than comfortable, but it's a great backup device and you can discreetly close it tighter from outside your pants.

I researched the clamps a bit before buying and thankfully never needed it. Now with the implant it's a no go.

Made me feel like I had to pee all the time. It was more comfortable to just go pee all the time.

It takes some getting used to. I have found that it is very comfortable. So comfortable that I sometimes forget it is on and pee without taking it off. Not a good idea as the contraction on the uretha hurts when you try to pee with it on.
