Regarding the capacity for women to have a user identity on FT…here’s my opinion..
.) FT is a successful global community, that in and of itself is extremely precious. So that parameters that have created this, and the overall integrity of the site is primary to its sustainability.
.) Many people, specifically the administrators/moderators contribute greatly to this site and respecting and upholding their views is important.
.) I know from my own experience that I chose not to have my wife attend medical appointments associated with the implant.. I suspect that at some level I wanted to face and address particular issues alone.
.) There are other ED related discussion sites (though not as valuable). I wonder if resources to support women could be placed in a more evident position on FT.. including links to other sites.. So that it was clear that the culture of the FT site fully supported women and their voice in addressing all issues related to ED, but was oriented to provide men with a space for inter-male discourse.
.) It is important to enable women with knowledge and shared dialogue so they can support us through our ED and therapy/implant journeys.
