I recently read about finesteride causing fiberosis ans thinning of the tunica, destroying spongy erectile tissues causing shrinkage and thinning. Would this effect someone with an implant?

Do you know how this thinning might effect someone implanted already. I saw some saying penile weight was lost. Not that ive ever weighed mine. I would just hate to have a thin penis wrapped around an implant.

I havent read anything about finasteride affecting the tunica albuginea, but if that might be the case you have to bear in mind that the titan implant is tunica dependent, where as an ams is mesh stabilized.

the titan itself might thin out the tunica.

How do you mean it is tunica dependant? Are you saying it will have less rigidity than the ams.
This clip shows the titan without obviously any tunica still more rigid than the ams.

I would consult top implant surgeons about having an implant and taking finasteride. I’m sure they can answer this question either way.

My doc gave me a cialis prescription, and he told me to masturbate at least a couple times a week to keep the blood flow going back into the penis. His exact words were, “if you don’t use it, you lose it.” I truly believe this advice saved my penis length. Today I am still the same size as I was before this tragedy :)

Did you have the implant before or after? I have the implant now. Will i still notice shrinking if i start to use it from now on?

Ruktitan, how are things now with your implant? Are you still awaiting a revision?
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

Awaiting revision. Was just given a date in september last week but its too soon due to work. I will be rebooking it later this year. Overall its okay. It works. Had some success and some failures. Not ideal considering this is the ultimate fix. Looking forward to the revision.

I used Propecia before my implant. It’s the reason why I needed an implant.

Many studies are being released about the dangers of Propecia. Under no circumstances would I suggest anyone use it.
Age & staus: mid 30s and single
Implant date: September 8, 2017
Implant model: Coloplast Titan 24cm (no RTE)
Doctor: Eid
ED cause: Propecia (10 years plus of ED)
