Seems that ED is an ongoing, never ending situation for sure. I can't imagine the bucks in your account if you could patent a simple harmless cure, one pill and it's ended!!
Went to the uro today, insisted on getting some trimix started around here. he quite frankly seemed a bit reluctant. Tried to move me up in dose strength on Alprostadil from 7.5 units to a full cc. This site has equipped me to argue better. He wrote a script for trimix before I left. Told me to start low at 4 units, work up slowly if needed. I'll get some later next week, and let you know the results. I'm about as excited as when getting a new S&W 44 mag---no wait, it's even worse than that!!

Re: tri-mix
4 units seems overly conservative. I was started at 30 units and had to move up to 45 units before I enjoyed a true hard 2 hour erection. I subsequently was able to reduce the effective dose to 10 units. I would start at 10 units the first time unless you do not have severe ED.

Re: tri-mix
You are right DT, it was 40 units, not 4. I may try 30 though, it's going to be a bigger bottle of juice than the alprostadil, so I'm in no hurry, I can eperiment for awhile to be safe.
Re: tri-mix
Anecdotal evidence suggests that anywhere from 30 to 50 units is a pretty good starting point. IN any case, don't stand too close and facing a wall when you do the injection. Repairing a pecker sized hole in the sheetrock is a lot of trouble.

Greg, I really do look foprward to doing some "deep hole drilling", literally plowing up some virtually new ground. I am so hopeful the stuff works faster---longer, and better than the former does.

As always, best wishes for hard times. And don't give up if it's not perfect the first time.

Those levels are all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out by a 4hr hardy.
My Uro did use 30u to start ,, but I only need 10u for an hour or two, so you can imagine how long 30u lasted. Needed a lot of exercising to get that bad boy to come back down.
So ... 10u might be a good start also -- everyone's different.

Re: tri-mix
"Everyone's different" is exactly right. My uro started me at 20 units (0.20 mL) with a dosage range estimated to be between 20-50. Way too much! The four hour woody is not fun. I've ended up at 5 which gives me a good erection in about 10 mins lasting 2 hours -- most of the time.
The actual mix that is prescribed and your personal reaction to each drug is a big variable. We speak of Trimix as though it is a uniform drug, when, in fact, each doctor has his/her own recipe.

Re: tri-mix
Sounds to me like moving to the tri-mix was the right idea. I am still getting the hang of injecting the bi-mix, only three injections so far. The time I got it right I loved the rock hard boner I had.

Re: tri-mix
After using Bimix and Trimix in ever-increasing dosages and potencies over the past three years, I was last injecting nearly 1 mL with only minimally agreeable results. Which is yet another reason why I got the IPP surgery.
Most patients self-injecting prostaglandin in any formulation stop doing so after a fairly short period of time. It becomes a hassle, it's inconvenient and requires planning, the results become less acceptable over time, and the side-effects (penile scarring and potential curvature issues) are unacceptable.
