Revision price

Postby smphead » Tue Aug 28, 2018 1:24 pm

Hi Folks,

Today i wentt to a urolog, while the pills losing their job. He suggested me injections over implant because it's permanent.

He also said insurance won't cover because i'm not in a steady relationship and there's no medical ground for an implant. Permanent side-effect of propecia use won't count.

So i can afford once 12000 euro and then i'm broken (but happy i hope so). But do i also have to pay 12000 euro every 10/15 years for yhe revision?

Thank you very much.

Hey,

12k is about what Ralph costs in London. That would be the price of the initial surgery.

Revisions are covered by the lifetime guarantees of the manufacturers so you would likely have to pay half of 12, ie. approximately 6k for doctor’s fees etc.

And hopefully that would be every 15 years.
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

So, make up a relationship and get the stuff to inject but don't use it and tell the doc "yep, the shit don't work, when can you cut me"? There's more than one way to skin a cat :)

What is it with that lifetime guarantee?

If I go to the US (or maybe UK, as it's cheaper) to get my virgin implant, would I be able to get the revision (after hopefully 12-25 happy years :D) done in Germany if there is a high volume surgeon available here until then and get that one covered by my insurance?

My insurance would definetely pay my first implant as my doc said, but I would like to have it done by someone who does a good number and is transparent.
Well, there is none yet.
25 from Europe - penile injury resulting in Peyronie's, ED and shrinkage.
Emotionally devastated, changed my whole life. Looking into implants, maybe going to the U.S. soon. :?
