Over Research

Has anyone felt like they over researched the surgery. I have a ton of papetwork that I have created. I'm a little OCD LOL.

I was compulsive about research. At first it was about gathering knowledge, but for me it ended up being more about getting me to a comfort level where I was ready for surgery. Once I reached that point, I stopped researching.

I think I'm FINALLY at that point. I just want this to be behind me.

Did barely any research. The only video I watched was some bloke pumping up and deflating.
I simply chose the best urologist I could find and mentally prepared by accepting that whatever I ended up with, it would be better than a cock that I couldn’t reliably service a woman with anymore.

Well put Smetro. I'm just dreading the recovery most of all the pain. My surgeon is Dr Eid. I hear he is pretty good pain wise.

Don’t dwell on pain that may not be an issue. I never even needed a pain pill and have read the same from several guys here. Maybe you will be lucky and be the same. Going in with the attitude all will be good always has helped me.

I stayed up many long nights researching before becoming implanted. You’ve chosen an awesome surgeon! There will be pain but you will have plenty of meds to help. Just make sure you have enough time off work to rest up. In the end, you’ll have a hard as hell cock that lasts as long as you or her want. The pain will be a distant memory.

i also did a gigantic amount of research and did very careful vetting of who and where I would get my surgery.....you will almost certainly do great since you did so much research to insure that you get the best...I agree with others that the pain will be a distant memory (for me, I did not need to take a single narcotic, but I have a good pain tolerance, and the extent of pain meds needed varies a lot between individuals)....realize that most of us would be willing to do anything (even die) to get a functioning dick, so pain seems like a minor inconvenience.

If you need a little courage, here is what I told myself when walking to the surgery center: "Stand tall and fight off that beast called erectile dysfunction with the stamina , pride, and courage of a gladiator "
