Adjusting Dosage

Postby cmcqueen16 » Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:11 pm

Presently using 30/2/100. First formulation used .25 injection twice with great results. Third it failed. Went to .30. First time worked, second time failure. Went to .4, first time worked, second time failure. Failure being defined not hard enough for sex. Any idea what is happening?

Dear Friend,
You have a pretty strong formula and sounds like it is not the strength or the dose but the technique.
I suggest you experiment by yourself without the pressure of sex with someone.
It’s very important that when you insert the needle you get through a though spot when the needle kind of “jumps”. You may aspirate and if you see a drop of blood you are good. You should feel no resistance when pressing on the plunger. If you do you are most likely not in the cavernous.

I personally use and love the Autoject. It makes the injections absolutely painless and super consistent. I use 1/2” 28 gauge needle set at 5/16 depth. Thinner needle doesn’t work with autoject.

All the best!

I agree that it's most likely your technique. There are plenty of threads on injection technique worth reading. I suggest taking the time to go through as many of them as you can stand.

I don't get newtoed's needle jump thing and I personally don't like the autoject, but whatever works for you is the correct way.

Good luck!

Thank you for your responses. I felt that as long as if the needle went in to the hub of the syringe, it was in the proper place. I have observed that other times it failed (not hard enough for penetration) was after being inserted with no pain, there was a little stinging feeling as though I had hit something. Any comment on that? I will take your advice and address my technique. Thanks

Sinking the needle is not necessarily an indication of penetrating the tunica. The needle may push the tunica I don’t of it. That’s why that jump is a good indicator. However if the needle touches the urethra when too deep you will have hard time pushing the plunger again. You have to play with that until you find no resistance. Again with Autoject I have no issues at all.
