Actually, I missed my one year anniversary update on September 18th due to health and housing issues. I found out I have Cancer for the second time so I have been dealing with that and will be undergoing radiation treatments thru early December. Regarding housing, we put our mountain house up for sale and expected it to take about a year to sell. It sold in one week and the buyer wanted a two week close. One week before closing a huge oak tree fell into our primary house during a storm, breaking thru the roof, ceiling, and back wall. It was difficult to move out of one house while being uprooted from another.
Now for the Implant
LOVE IT!!! Like many guys I just wish I had known about implants much sooner and had the surgery years ago. I had very little pain after surgery and never needed to take anything for pain after coming home from the hospital. I would describe some discomfort, but it was mild to moderate.
Resuming a meaningful sex life with my wife has been amazing. I was so blessed she stuck with me all those years I could not satisfy her needs. Now it is great and we enjoy fucking 3-4 times per week. I have historically had a high sex drive so I also masturbate every day. It is wonderful to be able to keep going until my wife has had her orgasm.
I am experiencing sensations as intense as I had as a teenager. Yes, it is different from my natural erection, but that let me down and didn’t allow me to live the life I wanted so the implant is preferable.
Many guys are curious about size. I always tell guys I talk to that patience is their friend. Din’t Expect too much too soon.
Size from age 16-50
Flaccid = 5”
Erect = 6.5”
Girth = 5”
Size after ED and Prostatectomy
Flaccid = 2” at best, often retracted
Erect = 4.5”
Girth = 5”
Size one month after surgery
Deflated = 3.5”
Inflated = 4.5”
Girth = 5.25”
Size one year after surgery
Deflated = 5 1/4”
Inflated = 6 3/8”
Girth = 5 3/4”
Having an implant has renewed my sex life, as well as my spirits, self-esteem, and confidence. I will be eternally grateful to my surgeon for a great result. I get so tired of hearing guys say it is a necessity to go to a “high volume” surgeon. My advice is to choose a high quality surgeon. I did my homework and felt very comfortable choosing my own Urologist. I heard from several guys who talked to high volume surgeons and they said he was great. I also met one of his patients who was highly satisfied. Do you research and you may find you don’t have to travel far and spend a lot of money for plane, hotel, etc. my analogy is McDonalds makes the most burgers, but there are independent burger places who make them better.
I also get tired of Titan guys saying AMS is inferior. I think both are great and both can have issues. The big selling points for Titan are hardness and girth. My wife and I don’t even enjoy sex with my AMS LGX fully pumped. I have it about 75-80% inflated for sex. I met with a guy who has a Titan for mutual Show & Tell. I felt no discernible difference when we were both fully inflated. When deflated his was much firmer, but I prefer my softer, more natural feel with the AMS when I am not using my implant. For me the AMS LGX has been perfect.
I am including pix I just took. I am proud of my penis again. Some medication I am on for Cancer has caused my balls to shrink. They had already gotten smaller from a year on Androgel about 10 years ago so there is not much left.
If you have any questions, I will happily answer them.

Greg, your pics are great and the sizes are inspirational, especially for members who have some lost some length and girth. I was saddened to read that your cancer is back. I sincerely hope it has been caught in time and you have a full recovery without sickness and pain.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through cancer Greg, it's such a tough thing. A friend of mine just beat it. He hard such grim times but be made it and is doing so well now.
Your implant outcome looks great though, better than so many will be natural!

Greg,
Thanks for another excellent post. I’ve always enjoyed your sharing and caring.
So sorry to hear about your cancer — that really sucks. Add to that the whole housing/tree-fall, and I’m guessing you’ve been extra grateful for the restored intimacy you and your wife have been able to enjoy. The respite from the storm.
And again, that’s a great looking dick. So happy for you and happy that you’ve been an inspiration for many guys struggling with their decisions. Keep shining your light...
Wishing you the best and quickest possible victory over your latest bout with the beast.
Bob
