While not posting a lot I have followed the posts here all through my recovery from my implant and am grateful for the support and experiences of others I followed on this journey.
I am overjoyed with the result of my implant as it has given me a perfectly functional penis for the first time in years and my wife and I are making up for lost time.
It was a big decision when I decided to have this surgery as it was fourth in three years ,laser turp hip replacement then radical prostatectomy all in my mid fifties and the thought of another procedure was depressing and I really considered not going through with it a million times. Boy am I glad I did. The surgery was painful but bearable,nothing compared to hip replacement but not fun by any stretch of the imagination. The worst part was during recovery wondering if it was gonna work like doc said it would as we had exhausted all other options and penetration sex seemed like a pipe dream. Now I read lots of posts here where guys biggest worries were if they’re still be hung like pre implant and wondered if they suffered psychologically the way I did when erection was impossible like it was for me.After three urological surgeries I have certainly lost some size,length and girth but I am perfectly happy with a slightly smaller hard cock than a big soft one and having an on demand and as long as you want boner is a pretty good trade off in my opinion. I will continue to follow this thread in the hope of maybe reassuring someone who was as clueless as I was when I first considered this procedure. Thanks to the few that responded to my posts and will remember to pass along my limited wisdom to another human being struggling with the devastating repercussions of E D.

Well said, Willy. You have shone like a beacon of hope to future implantees like me (24 days and a wake up)! Thank you for your upbeat attitude and positive results after dealing with many more urological problems than I have. Although we shared the 'inability to penetrate' issue that has frustrated me throughout my battle with ED, your story has given me a renewed energy and enthusiasm that I hope will power me through my first several weeks of recovery! Willie,
I am glad your implant is making you happy owner and works to your satisfaction.
I had mine about month after you (9/5) and my case is total opposite,
nothing normal.
I am very disappointed with mine.
