Downward curve post implant

Postby Jamie7891 » Mon Oct 15, 2018 1:46 am

Hi I was implanted on 15/8/18 with ams 21cm + 3cm rte

Probably lost close to an inch in length after implant but reliable erections now

My concern is when fully inflated to max it curves down if laying on my back 1/2
way up my penis curves to 1pm mark ..... no history of peyronies so was wondering if it’s cause by the deflated state which looks like dog ears and how to rectify thus problem should I place my penis in upward position under waist band ???? Urologist was no help I’ve alre asked
And

also using a VED after implant to trying to regain my length if possible
31 year old :D tried pills for 5years
Trimix too painful and not spontaneous

Was implanted by dr katelaris on 13/8/18 in Sydney Adventist Hospital
With AMS 700 LGX 21cm & 3cm RTE
Revision failed pump

bend your dick back up. Mold it into the right position. Wear it 60% pumped and up. At 8 weeks mine would look like a cork screw at times. I just screwed it back to straight.

This is good advice and right on. Mine curves to the left and cork screws. So badly an expert told me that I had tip migration. Well follow up Wed with CT scan imagining but I have been pulling my cork screw straight since last Wed and also fully inflated at night waking and pumping all night long. This AM I hit 6 1/4". No cork screw but my head is still 3/8" higher on the right side than on the left. But I am straight now deflated lying on my back. Well almost big improvement. If I don't have tip migration I plan on sleeping fully erect every night for now on. I flaccid stretch when my tips complain so no problem getting to sleep.
I'm realizing that implants are like clay, you can mold them into whatever suits you best to a degree. And yes I better watch my BMI too cause I'm definitely still growing.
That said I can't figure out why the implant would curve downward? My right tip is about 1/4" longer than my left so left curve. Right now when I'm straight the right side of my shaft up to the glans is 3/8" longer than the left side hence crooked head. What kind of implant do you have? What size and how many rtes? I was told that if you had too many rtes like 7 or more you would hang down. Look at your surgical notes and see what your proximal measurements are. Let's say you were 9cm with 7 cm rtes. That might cause your problem. Just a guess. .

Douge and, I have been told, don't know if true that leaving it extra hard for to long of a period (your case over night) could cause erosion.

That is true which is why I keep flaccid stretching too. Keeps my tips away from the glans so to speak. My VED also will soon keep my length well away from the tips so no erosion possible. Right now watching things closely. Making sure the tips are not pushing very hard. Thanks though. Good advice.

Reading these posts, I find 1 uniformity. The brand of implant starts with A. Is this the problem? I have no idea. Did the same speed teacher train both doctors? Have no idea. Should it be this way? I think not.

I understand it is important to deflate fully after cycling for the first 3 months. Otherwise a capsule will grow around the partially filled reservoir-preventing it from ever being filled without auto inflating the implant. Seems like after 3 months it’s ok to keep it partially inflated as you prefer.

Sounds reasonable. My sac is the flat square hidden one. Should never have that problem. But I will watch it.
