My best guess is that you're not getting the medicine injected into the right spot/area? Trimix isn't that volatile. I use 31 gauge 5/16" long needle BD brand syringes. I easily slowly insert it into the skin and then it takes a bit more effort getting the needle into the next layer and once the needle is through that second layer I bury it as far as I can before pushing the plunger down and injecting the Trimix. I've read quite a few forum posts of guys who used 1/2" needle and had issues going in to deep and not getting the erections that they were expecting. My 2 cents!

Trimix frozen and just thawed once a week or so will keep its potency for over a year.

I have a feeling that either it’s you technique or the location.

Since I started using Autoject and hundreds of injections I have no failures and it’s 100% full proof. No guess work at all. You should consider it

My initial injection kit from my uro included one of the other brands. Four years down the road, I've found the BD syringes to be the gold standard. They seem to be sharper and hence somewhat less painful.

Wow, I had no idea. Where I am from they use nothing but BD so I just thought that was all there was.

Yeah, I'm going to have to guess the problem is a technique issue.

FMLFML85...Trimix has a longer shelf life then what your pharmacy is telling you. Like newtoad said I think it should last over a year. I think if left out here and there and warmed a couple dozen times it would be less potent after 5 or 6 months but still good enough to use? My pharmacist said something like 60 days with a wink wink and said that was what he was required to say but guys get well over 6 months. The batch I have now is 7 months old. I took a fresh vial out of the freezer that's been in the freezer since I brought it home from the pharmacy 7 months ago and it seems just as potent as the day I brought it home. I got my BD syringes from Walmart for about $32 for 100. Like "once a writer" said I feel like BD syringes are the best and believe they are sharper then the cheap generic syringes I got with my Trimix from the compounding pharmacy. I had a hard time buying those syringes at my local Walmart pharmacy though. Even though it is completely legal to buy syringes without a prescription here in Florida their store policy requires a script like insulin to get them. They treated and looked at me as if I was a junkie high on drugs for asking to buy syringes. I had to have my urologist office call in a prescription just to buy them.

I know it's been asked before but is there in any danger with using Trimix when crystals are visible in the vial??
