Urologist -- Male or Female?

I totally agree. Discussions about a penis are not an intellectual subject; they have one down there and know exactly what a penis is from personal experience. (And even if our penises differ in a variety of ways, they are still all penises.)

From a comfort stand point, I think it also has to do with what you have to "display" . If you are hung, not so much of a problem whether it's male or female, but if you are a turtle dick like I was, well...........I would rather have a male. Happy to say that now it's not a problem! Not hung like a bear, but very happy.

I don't care if male or female. It's all about how I feel about the competence of the doctor. I'm not overly thrilled with the male urologist I have now. You guys seem to think a male doctor is automatically going to care more about your dick. There seems to be a pretty fair number of male doctors that are more concerned about their bottom line and their convenience than the patients dick. Has it not occurred to any of you that a female doctor, urologist or implant specialist, might have gone into the field because she likes and appreciates dick? What could be better than a woman that appreciates dick and wants to help create the best specimen. Someone on here already posted a story that seems to describe a female doctor with such appreciation.

Ha ha. Imagine my surprise when a drop dead beautiful young Asian female doctor came into the exam room when I went in for 1st post implant examination. She told me she worked with my doctor and wanted to check the implant out. I dropped my pants and laid back on the table as she inflated me. All along she kept saying "this is really nice" about 3 or 4 times. She deflated me and said my doctor would be in shortly. I bit my tongue to keep from saying "wait a minute, didn't we just have a moment there?".

Oh Dave, you are hilarious. About this subject, I really do get it and I really don't know exactly why but although I think that female doctors are every bit as good as male doctors, I think when it comes to urology I would rather a male. I think that part of it is because, prior to my last implant my dick was so small I was very embarrassed to have the female sex even see it, where with the male doctor I really didn't care. Not surprisingly, if I knew that a male doctor was gay, it was the same as the female doctor. Maybe deep down I think they are judging me. That's what makes me think the way I do. When my wife and I first got together, (I was 18 years old) I made sure the light was out so she couldn't see my flaccid dick. It was ok erect (well, not really ok, but better than a kick in the butt). Some of the best doctors I have had (dermatologist, Internist, cardiologist, emerg.) were female and were awesome... I just not comfortable with a female urologist. I know it's silly, I just can't help feeling the way I do.

This is funny. Before implant when I dropped y drawers for a doc I was flaccid about 3.5" maybe even shorter in a cold room like the doctor's office. But now the implant keeps me big flaccid or erect it's just about the same. I never cared how big or small I was in front of any doc male or female. Now my main concern is looking like I'm aroused 24/7 at work in mixed company. But oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it. Hope they do as well

I heard AMS LGX looks more natural then Titan. Since you are saying this, it worries me a lot. I was thinking of replacing my Titan with AMS LGH but your post strikes another minus on AMS implants.

I love my AMS CX. Before my surgery, I was 3" flaccid on a good day. Other days I had a button dick I pulled out to piss. Now I have always been a grower, I get up to about 7' but my deflated dick is about 6" now. The look is completely natural. Most men love their AMS CX. I not very familiar with the LGX.
