HaLop or Turp before radiation treatments
I'm hoping my brothers can give me some feedback concerning sex after this treatment,. And has anyone gotten an implant and how did things work out! Do you lose the ability to ejaculate after prostate removal... how about orgasms??

I can’t speak for the TURP procedure but I will say that after your prostate removed you will not ejaculate it will be dry I had my prostate removed in June implanted on 26 October have no problems with orgasm actually they’re great but there is no seminal fluid or ejaculate

I agree that after having the prostate removed you will no longer ejaculate. Orgasms, yes -- I say mine feel 99% the same as before the prostatectomy, just no ejaculation. Orgasms are great!
Re: HaLop or Turp before radiation treatments
I had the TURP procedure not for cancer but for an enlarged prostate and not being able to piss. It worked for a while but I ended up having a Green Light Laser procedure. That worked. Now I can go all night without getting up and when I do urinate I really empty the bladder. However now I ejaculate very, very little, just a few drops. It doesn't shoot out just oozes out but the orgasms are intense.
Re: HaLop or Turp before radiation treatments
My prostate was removed in 2009. I miss the ejaculate. You may have the tiniest bit of clear fluid. 1 to 2 drops of fluid from the cowpers gland that lubricates your urethra but that is it. Maybe. Cowpers is not removed in a prostatectomy. Dr. Brandes told me orgasm wise it would be short, only a milisecond or maybe a second. Over the years it has improved to slightly longer than that but the 20 second long orgasm was over. For me it was one of those, better watch close or you will miss it all together. I am not familiar with the reamer roto rooter methods. If a restriction is the issue rather than cancer, there is a newer method that shoots darts into the prostate to hold it open. Kind of like tiny toggle bolts. It does not remove tissue and a quick procedure. I understand some even do it in office. Neighbor had it and says he is doing well. He is about 2 months out now.

I had an LRP(laparoscopic radical prostatectomy) in 2007, and after a return of my cancer, 35 radiation treatment in 2013. After my LRP, my orgasms were so intense they brought tears. This sometime happens due to the roughing up of the nerves. My dac said it happens in about 10% of cases. Over time they settled down, but they are still better than before. Of course no ejaculate. After my implant it became a little harder to get there, but the orgasms are still awesome.
Best to you!

I agree that orgasms are harder to achieve once you're implanted but they are very intense. I am scheduled for a prostatectomy on January 15 and him quite anxious.

Assuming that you will be in the hands of a competent and experienced surgeon, you can relax. It is a little more substantial than your implant, but not all that much. You will probably need to do Kegels to regain continence, but I haven't heard of anyone that has lost sensitivity and the ability to orgasm. The nerves they talk about sparing have more to do with erectile function that sensitivity, and you have that base covered in the best possible way

Mr
Not sure about your heading. Is the radiation treatment the micro wave procedure for enlarging your urethra? Or is this prostate cancer? If it is micro wave you cannot have it after your implant must be before. If cancer either works I think. If I develop prostate cancer I will not hesitate to have it entirely removed. But it sounds like you are considering the roto rooter enlarging of your urethra and possible partial removal of the enlarged prostate. My Dad had that done, very painful in those days of course we never talked about his sex life soooo.
