What thomoas1 said. The first batch is good for testing and smome may get that batch right if they don't need much. Once you figure out how much actual active ingredient you need, the doctor can Rx a stronger mix to get the unit cost down. 0.9+/- is an awful lot. A 18-0.6-6 is a very weak mix. I have no idea why a Uro would still have you ''dicking" around with that.

Have you gone all quiet for a week now? What's up?

One observation -- and I hope you do succeed ultimately -- but shooters who have little initial response even from ever-increasing doses -- might just not be good candidates for injections. Hopefully, a stronger prescription will kick start ol willy for you so don't give up yet by any means.

In the meantime, you might be able to salvage something out of those 30 minutes attempts by adding on a Velcro strap such as you can buy right at Lowe's or Home Depot - a whole pack for $3.

Go search the Fun With Velcro thread for more details. I am able to 'resurrect' pretty serviceable hard ons long after things have seemingly gone back to the old sleepy state (4, 6 8 hrs later!!). That trace PGE-1 just stays around I tell ya -- pretty amazing.

Hello All,

I'm deeply thankful for all responses and comments.

When I got up to .85 improvement/not "hard" but faded in 40 minutes. My next shot was 0.3 each side with the smaller needle...but not there yet.

I saw my urologist who is referring me to an ED expert he knows to continue finding the answer. My Dr. is an expert surgeon but not a specialist in "ED".

His comment was would I mind going to a lady Dr? LOL! I told him no if she was the expert that he recommended I would be glad to go and I have the highest regard for female Dr's!!!

So I expect a full work up and exam at the end of Sept.

Lastly This past week I had a TBI Traumatic Brain injury....day by day recovery after over night nuro observation in the hospital. I don't even remember how I hit my head.

Will keep you guys posted.

Hey, good luck and I'm glad you seem to have survived your head injury. Be careful! I'm fine with Lady Docs too. As long as they know their stuff why care. I don't. I'm sure you'll get it all sorted out soon.

I was referred by my generalist Uro to a specialist Uro when things got a bit more complicated. Made an appt with Uro, but actually his PA guy saw me. He said "he fixes all the stuff that the Uro breaks." I'm thinking prostates and stuff that many here cite as reason for ED, not that any mistake was made it's just the risk and consequences. Anyway, he knew his stuff and was very flexible. And he knows the guy at the compounding pharmacy. Interestingly, my general Uro gave me only verbal instructions and send me on my merry way with a Caverject script. No real "hands on" instruction or test injection that many cite here. I think he judged from the verbal that I was competent enough to do it right.

Ranger... Cigar was on target in my opinion too. except I would add.. if you are injecting past .50 ml...consider
upgrading your formula. Entry level mixes are indeed all over the place..30-1-10 is another. Less than that on the PGE (10) I wonder too, what the Dr has in mind. Such an off the wall combo.

I really appreciate all of the reply's and comments!

Well still recovering from the recent Traumatic brain injury. Nov 12 I had brain surgery was in the hospital 5 days before and 1 day surgery, 2 days recovery.

This must be the 12th injection LOL!

But I have a new prescription now Trimix double strength...told to start at 0.3ml so I started at 0.35ml it was OK too soft and only lasted 40 minutes. the old was successful at o.80 bit I was not hard enough for me...

I think the new scrip will work at 0.45 or 0.50 A couple of questions:

1. Does total hardness help with me having an orgasm?

2. Does total hardness increase the time of erection will last?

3. Still hard to get the needle into the skin and penis. It's like I have a rubber Dick - LOL?

4. I start slow with amounts so I Don't have to go and let it get deflated?

5. Thursday was my first injection for 3 months. My hand was shaking just trying to do it. I did but it was not enough fo total hardness -LOL

I have 2 needle sizes 1/2 and something smaller. I like the smaller one.

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and delusions or hallucinations at worst. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

1. In my own experience, ease of orgasm increases with hardness/firmness to a point after which increasing super hardness begins to make it more difficult. You have to find your sweet spot.

2. Generally yes.

3. Maybe try a different brand of needle. I personally use Publix store branded syringes but sometimes brand can make a big difference. I was using Easy Touch and I like those better but I had to order them while I can just buy the others at Publix.

4. I agree that caution is best. An ER trip would suck.

5. You'll get there. I like the small needle and syringes too.

6. Some that can recommend some stimulation to fluff up your dick a bit before injecting. I don't have that option so I wouldn't know.

Earlier another poster, JimStars, recommended using a velcro strap to supplement the injection. I use a novelty silicone cock ring for the same purpose. You might consider that option.

So, what's the actual mix of your "Double Strength" script?
