Hey mate,
I wish we were conversing under better circumstances.
I’m not an implant surgeon so I don’t want to be presumptuous but it would appear that again, the tips don’t reach adequately enough into the glans and this was precisely the reason you went for a revision. I’m really so sorry for this.
Questions:
Was this another NHS job?
Was the surgeon Mr Garaffa?
Are you meant to be inflating so soon after surgery?
Recommendations from my end:
Though it’s going to be hard to do so, I would wait a few weeks and then see where you’re at. If as I suspect the tips still don’t reach into the glans then your options are to complain and seek another revision with an expert (such as David Ralph), investigate whether there is some form of ongoing negligence here or save, beg or steal and go to see Dr Kramer as apparently he’s not only one of the best implanters out there but he’s also a revision specialist.
Floppy head
Re: Floppy head
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.
Re: Floppy head
Firstly my heart goes out to you if this revision is as bad as it appears. Secondly you need to immediately contact the surgeon and gather his reaction as frankly there wa only on reason for the revision. If this is unsatisfocatory you must take notes and ask for you surgical notes in full. Make it clear you are going to sue his ass off. No messing. Otherwise these people can do this to others.
I’m hoping this may just be working on your dick too soon and it will settle into place but the photos suggest otherwise. Now is not the time to be sympathetic to the surgeon. These people get paid mega bucks even through the nhs and all also practice privately. If this was any other botched surgery then the nHS is liable. Do your research. The NHS largest costs in 2017 were compensation payments!!
In the meantime I’m hoping you heal and it’s ok.

Now Implanted 9/12/17. 52 years old with ED for over 20 years. Tried all the pills and injections. Update. Implanted with Titan 22 + 1. by DR Ralph Dec 9th London. Now in recovery and at 3 months feeling the journey was worth the pain.
Re: Floppy head
Im going to give it a little more time before fully fully inflating. I want to be sure im not kicking up a fuss prematurely but as I was correct about the first implant immediately i have little doubt this one will be different. Titans dont increase in length.
Yes this was done on NHS.
Dr Garaffa did my surgery however I never actually saw him that day at all...
When I had my consultation with Garaffa he understood my concerns and was all for increasing the cylinders to fill the penis and support the glans.
I will have an appointment in a week or two to check and I will be voicing my concerns and not leaving without my surgery notes. If they try to dismiss me again I will speak to a solicitor and get myself over to Kramer.

29 years old. Suffered with ED since 17. No known cause. First Implanted date 23/3/2018. Cylinders way too short and revised by different surgeon 2019. 22cm titan.
Cylinders still short and now pump is upside down and protruding. Awaiting 3rd revision

That’s a solid plan, mate.
I wish you all the best. Keep us updated!

When will you fully inflate?
In a few days when the scrotum swelling has gone down. I see no reason to wait too long for activation as they stitch you up and activate you on the table so it cant be bad to do it apart from the pain I guess.

Aren't you going against doctor's orders, mate? If they find out it would invalidate any case against them you could possibly lodge. Be mindful and I'd always recommend following what the doc says.

No this time around I was told as soon as the swelling had gone down I could use it just no sex for 6 weeks. Ive not had any written doctors orders otherwise.
They also didnt do the bladder scan at all this time around. The first time with the different surgeon I had to urinate 3 times and have 3 bladder scans. I think all surgeons and their teams do it differently.

Make sure you are clear what you have and haven’t been told. It appears your revision was on 10/12 or 11/12 so only 4 days out and it appears you had already “used it two days after surgery. I’m fairly sure. You would not be healed enough but I’m no expert on revisions. I know in the USA it seems they are more aggressive in starting to cycle etc but to my knowledge that’s not the U.K. guidance. I could be wrong butbas defiant states if you do decide to take any form of legal action you will Need to be sure you followed guidance at all times. Or it will be a struggle to make any claim. You need to get hold of your surgeon for the revision ASAP. I mean like right now and have an honest and frank discussion on your concerns, insist on a meeting and for him to look at the result. Take his guidance and thoughts and then decide what you do next. I would be parked on his lawn!!!

I am positive that the doctor instructed me that I could use it once the swelling had gone down. I believe the resoviour and pump may be the original ones so maybe it was not as invasive..
I will have a follow up appointment where I will show them and make it fully clear I am unhappy.
Did you have direct contact details for Mr Ralph as i never got any for both surgeries.
