One thing I’m particularly concerned about is the nature of operation; losing that spur of the moment spontaneity, time it takes to inflate, how to inflate, when and where and how it might make one feel.

Of course I know that should one get to this stage, the likelihood of them having good, spontaneous erections is diminished but it does give one pause.

Nature of the operation is pretty brutal. But if you want it bad enough you can watch tons of them online and still not be put off.
It does kill spur of the moment a bit, Like if we are passionately kissing and she reaches down I wouldnt have an erection. But it would only take me about 30 seconds to get one. I managed to pump it up whilst kissing and whilst going down on her without her even noticing.
However it changes it completely. You can be ready to go spur of the moment. At any moment.

Would love to hear from any more young lads out there who’ve taken the plunge..:
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

Not sure I qualify as a "young lad" anymore. ( I am 47) but i got in for my implant on June 28th. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 7 years ago. As most, I have tried pills, which worked for a while, then onto Edex injections. Worked for a while, but then just started hurting, and causing issues. So now, only option is Implant. Will be getting the AMS 700 LGX. I can't wait to get this done.
implanted: 07/31/2018 AMS 700 LGX. 18cm cylinders with 2cm RTE's - Dr. Schomburg-Urologist

Defiant, Read the posts on sensitivity and orgasm. This is no picnic. Cycling every day for 2 years is very painful. I thought the pain from trimix was bad. This is no better and I do it sex or not. I could climax easily with tri mix. I left trimix because it started pyronies. IF ANYTHING WORKS, do not go to implant. Some young guy was griping about not having his raging hard on. Notice : if you pump this thing up to hard, you can not get an orgasm. There you are with your million dollar dick and you have to use it half hard ( I mean where you have give assistance to stuff it in) because that beautiful hard dick will not cum because it is to damn hard. Be careful what you wish for, NOTHING beats a natural dick, no matter what it takes to get it hard.

Hmmmm,

I don’t think this is the view most people would share..

Have you had a bad experience?

dis not habe an erection for the last 6 years sufficient for sex, neither pills nor injections did work sufficiently. did not try to add a cock ring, as this would prevent me from getting in any intimate situation tonuse pills, injections and a cock ring for sex.

still fill like a freak for getting this surgery.

my fear is I will still be to ashamed/ to inexperienced to get intimate with girls afterwards.

24 yo right now.

Dont feel like a freak mate. I had to get mine done at 26. No real known medical cause but no sufficient erections for years and years. Doctors got sick of me and decided to implant me. Im so happy and im a pretty normal guy. None of my friends know. I go out drinking and gym and getting with girls. And once you have the implant you will feel like a new man.

Defiant,,, YOU DESCRIBE MILD TO MODERATE ED. You are dependent on Cialis. That is much better than an implant. Do you loose your erection when you change positions when using Cialis. How much Cialis does it take? What do you get with a trimix injection? How much trimix does it take to get a 2 hour erection?

But I deal with crippling levels of anxiety and you talk about implants in an extremely generalistic way, when I know for a fact that the vast majority of outcomes are good ones, ones where minimal length is lost, sensitivity and ejaculation remain the same and most importantly, the erection acts in exactly the same manner, just manually induced.

What you’re describing, appears to me, at least from my research to be an unfortunate but less than common occurrence and you’re using very alarmist language in reference to implants.

I’m 34 and single, I’m not going to go down the injection route. That’s not an option in my mind. The implant presents, for me, a very real and sustainable solution to a plethora of my problems.

For me, I can be up and ready to go now in about the same time frame it took me when I did not have ED. When? Before in the bathroom, during foreplay, while you are muff diving, any time. The only difference is if you are trying to conceal the fact that you have it. This is not really a good idea, after a while, she will find out and then you'll be in shit for lying to her. Good luck.

Larry
