I’m still having a little trouble figuring out the layout and orientation of the AMS pump. It doesn’t help that my belly makes 2 handed exploration a challenge, but I’ll figure it out. Thanks to everyone here for telling your stories. I’m not sure I would have done this without you.

I’m at one month and 2 days now. No pain and discomfort is rare. Cycling: I’ve been able to locate the inflating bulb and deflate button and operate both although with one hand. As everyone has mentioned, at first the bulb is hard as a rock. After a few days I was able to get it to compress between my forefinger and thumb. At the beginning of compressing I feel a slight pop and the bulb compresses. However, after I release and the bulb expands when I go to compress a second time, the bulb is hard as a rock. After several seconds, it softens again. Anyone Else experience that? When inflating - sometimes up to 30 pumps - the cylinders get stiffer but I never feel any stretching. How do you know when you have maxed out the pumps? Finding and engaging the deflate button is easy enough and I feel the vibration as the cylinders empty. Bottom line, after 30 pumps, I don’t feel still inflated or long enough for intercourse. If it’s a patience game, I’m all in. I just don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong.

Did a show and tell with Dr. using the key chain. Still have to see the guy, but for the most part, now I have to start pulling the pump forward, and up, and try to get it into proper position. Dr. said he put me on a list to hopefully see me sometime in May for follow up. The forward and up exercise seems to be working, as I notice that the pump does not interfere with sleep as much as it has. Don't get me wrong, it still does, but I have noticed a difference.

For me, I know when I've maxed out when the bulb becomes rock hard and impossible to compress any further. The other sign is discomfort, especially in the glans. It's a feeling that it is being overstretched.
