don't overthink the cold penis thing. It's really not THAT noticeable a difference, and I don't think your partner is going to notice a thing either. Plus as others have said, it's going to take on the temperature of its' environment when you're using it, so I think it'll be similar to the inside of her vagina or mouth.
As for the decision to do it, if you can still have sex satisfactorily, then hold off, you'll know when it's that time.

You are way over thinking this. In our youth, my now wife & I would go sledding in the snow a lot. I can't imagine that I never used a cold dick on her. Never slowed her down a bit. Relax, they aren't just laying there waiting to take your temperature. Actually, I can remember times when her temperature was different. I made it all work perfectly fine. Like I said, over thinking about a non issue. I suspect that you're trying to throw up road blocks to convince you that having an implant is a bad idea. Franktalk forum has a lot of old guys that have had prostate cancer. I think you are reading comments from them. I am one of them. All my nerves that control blood flow were removed during the prostate removal surgery. As a result, I have very little blood flow in my glans penis and it is cold most of the time. Sometimes if I sleep on my back, my penis gets so cold it wakes me up. This condition has nothing to do with the implant installation. A few guys even get natural erections after having an implant.

Thanks for the replies. I feel better about having an implant now. I realize I am over thinking this whole cold penis thing and I’m looking for reasons not to get an implant. I just spoke with one of my ex girlfriends she knows I’m considering an implant. I asked her what she thinks about cold penis she said that she uses a dildo and it is cold at first but once inside her it warms up. Also she said that when me and her had intercourse she couldn’t tell if my erection was weak and she said that it felt good but I couldn’t ever get her to cum. I know my erection is weak..I’m going to find a doctor and find out what’s wrong first before considering an implant. If it is a venous leak and the only thing that can fix it is an implant then I’ll get one. But some people can retain the original temperature after implant right ? I wonder why some people do and some people don’t ? I know it varies from person to person but what determines that ? (Implant model, what disease you have at the time of implant, technique used to implant, Surgeon, etc.)

Just thinking about all the complications and changes that will happen when getting an implant makes me depressed. So many things can go wrong from getting an infection to losing sensitivity to losing length and girth. If I had ED so severe that I can’t even get an erection for penetration then I will get an implant in a heartbeat. It would make deciding easier. The thing is my erections are hard enough to penetrate but still too limp to bring her pleasure or orgasm so I’m like in the middle of the spectrum. If I get an implant and it ends up cold I will miss having a warm natural dick. I don’t want to do injections because it’s inconvenient and requires planning and viagra and cialis doesn’t work.

I suggest you get the implant when all options no longer work.
