Italian Stallion...
I posted this shorter version of Merrix's main points in this thread yesterday...
You've been exhaustively researching implants since at least May 2018, when you joined FT. I've personally exchanged several PMs with you. Sitting on the fence for as long as you have has got to hurt. If and when you've tried and failed with every other reasonable treatment for ED, there really is no other option than an implant. I know you're young but wouldn't you rather live for at least (hopefully) the next 10 years with an implanted dick that works every time on demand or one that just can't or won't function to satisfaction? How about making a New Year's resolution to take the necessary steps toward getting off that fence and regaining (or surpassing!) your sexual performance potential.
However, I must have missed reading in any of your previous posts that you have tried but failed with every ED treatment available (pills, injections, etc.). You shouldn't even be contemplating implantation at this point if you haven't TOTALLY exhausted all other possible remedies.

Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 76 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.
Re: Psychological and physical arousement with an implant.
First, I must say i only had ED for 9 months, between the prostatectomy and implant. I was a grower. This new flaccid 5 1/2 inch shower keeps me aroused all the time.

If i was 100% sure about what i will got after the surgery, then yes, i would prefer to live 10 years with the implant. Keep in mind that, as you know, there's no coming back.
Keep in mind guys that if i will lose sensitivity, or if my size will be too shorter than now, or if debts will not make me able to pay for the next implants, knowing myself i know that i would be doomed to depression for life and probably commit..... a stupid thing.
That's why i think so much about this.

Re: Psychological and physical arousement with an implant.
I got my implant on January 8, 2020. I have not had any problems with it what so ever. One year being able to fuck on demand and loving my cock. I stay as horny or am hornier than I was before I got my implant. Maybe it is the excitement of my implant I don’t know but I will take it! I’ve fuck my wife until she has the best orgasms that she has had in our 36 yrs together. She loves my cock and how I give it to her. She cums and just keeps cumming. I wish I could cum like she does! No complaints from her. I’ll have to say it’s been a good first year with my AMS 700 penile implant.

hope794...Why do you continue to ignore questions about what ED treatments you have tried and if they worked or not?

Thanks for sharing your valuable experience!! Does your glans engorge now? Did it engorge before?

Hello barry, i apologize if i seem to be avoiding your questions.. Probably i just forgot to reply. Sorry.
I've tried PDE5-i, specifically cialis 5mg and cialis 10mg. Now i'm headed to cialis 20mg.
As i've said, my issue is not getting an erection (with some stimulation, i can get it even without PDE5-i) but rather mantaining one.
Furthermore, my Peyronie's is really really strange, it doesnt stop its progression, im living since almost 7 years with this disease and it never stopped. Thus im losing lenght and girth year after year and im always in pain and living with inflammation in the penis. I'm losing sensations in the penis as well.
This is what concerns me the most.

This is more the reason you shouldn't procrastinate until you hear just the right answer from the right person. An implant will not be perfect and your penis will never be perfect again, even if you DON'T get an implant. You can only choose to stop the progression NOW while you can maintain at least what you have remaining, or let it progress another few years until you have nothing left to save. An implant WILL stop the progression of Peyronie's and it can recover some of your length lost to PD curvature in many cases. It will never give you more than your anatomy was capable, and depending on various factors, there may be a degree of effects that you might find less than desirable. Not everyone has one of these effects so you may be one of the ones who have a perfect outcome with full glans and can cum at the snap of a finger.
You can decide to stop the deformity of PD now and accept the potential risks of implantation, or do nothing and keep looking for the perfect patient who can give you 100% assurance that everything will be perfect, and let PD suck away more length and functionality day by day until you have nothing left to save.

Re: Psychological and physical arousement with an implant.
Hope794. Research is good. But reseach paralysis is a real thing. It is the condition where all you do is research & can't come to a decision. Also, remember the progression of ED & peyronies. They are progressive. Meaning that they continue to get worse as time passes.
I believe that you are wrong on the grafting. In the USA I have heard of it being done but only in extreme cases. Other technics are used on most cases.
I get the feeling that the biggest issue is that you want a sliding procedure done. I presume for penis length.
Trust me, if sliding was a safe, proven procedure. It would be common here. I know a person that was in a car accident. The airbag threw one of the hands up in the air. This did not break the hand or arm but did stretch the nerves. The pain & numbness persisted for several years & required some rather severe treatment. Based on that experience. I would be very wary of any doctor that performed a sliding surgery.

Especially with only a 1.5-3.0 cm expected gain (0.6-1.2").
