hi dtwarren, thanks for replying.. well obviously, that advice is wrong, no offense my friend. and nothing else could've caused the curvature expect for the injections. its the only thing i used in that short time frame.

i dont have a problem injecting on the left side except that in 1996 i took a med for depression that caused a slew of physical problems. it constricted the base of my penis. since then, my penis has been more affected on the left side than on the right side.

do you think that if inject on the left side that this curvature could be corrected? you know, in order to "even out" the curvature?

and can you give me more infoon this mixture of DMSO and iodine? it sounds good. thanks,

unfortunately, you seem to be more prone to scaring than the average guy. Injecting on alternate sides is recommended to avoid injecting on the same side too often. It is a preventive measure and will most likely not help as a corrective measure.

Before trying an unproven procedure (DMSO/iodine), I would agree you should check with your doc first for more traditional treatments.

I watched an episode of the CBS show The Doctors last year on which they demonstrated the use of an extender as a medically approved procedure for correcting the curvature caused by Pyrones disease. For low tension rehabilitative extender use, I would recommend getting a low cost (under $100) extender from Amazon. I also have an X4 Labs extender which I have added several modifications to improve comfort, but I use mine for penile enhancement. If money is no object, the German made Penimaster Pro is the Rolls Royce of penis extenders for $300 plus.

hi dtwarren.. appreciate the followup. yes, i will follow up with my doc before proceeding with the iodine mix just to make sure its ok. i seriously appreciate this advice.

one question... do you think that straighening out the penis with an extender will also correct any scarring in the CC? and do use of extenders also improve ED in general?

looking forward to your reply.

you said youre getting an implant. i've looked into something that may interest you as a last resort before you get an implant. and its something i'm definitely getting in the future. its stem cell therapy. a friend of a friend who's in the army overseas now said he had it done 2 years ago. he said it greatly improved his ED issue. i never met him.. but my friend who knows him says hes happy now. but i hear that the procedures are not cheap. maybe its something of interest for you, i dont know.

thanks for your suggestions.

Hi kuliox

The central point in with the peyronie recovery process is to supply blood to the cells so that it can regenerate the tissue; while stretching is supposed to break the scar formation. Yes, jelquing has to be very but very gentle... basically I myself do not even refer it as jelquing but more as a massage. I just use the technique, not the actual force...
As for the cell stem therapy as far as I know this research is banned in USA and Canada so unlikely it will be available here within next few decades. Thank you for the advise though.

no, no, no.. i think youre misinformed. i think you mean that embryonic stem cell therapy is banned in the US, but autologuous stem cell therapy in the US is not banned. there are clinics based in the US that offer this therapy legally. look into it. i've contacted a couple here that i'm considering getting treatment from. i know my friend has a friend who got this therapy in california.. and from what i hear hes amazed with the results. look into it before getting an implant. it could be the cure you need without having to implant a piece of plastic in your body.

Hi Kuliox

The Peyronies Site offers suggestions for implementing various therapies that are available, not only for Peyronies sufferers. They discuss Stem cell therapy which you suggested. The longer that you wait the more difficult your recovery will be. Many of the men have been successful in overcoming their problems. It is a site worth investigating.

Good luck to you.

I cannot even begin express how alarming this thread is. I wish I had seen it sooner.

A penis is delicate and subject to injury and Peyronies Disease (PD) (about 10% of men). If you have ED, Diabetes, a prostatectomy, or take certain meds the risk is far higher. Injury including micro trauma increases risk. Needles are trauma. In addition, some of the specific drugs use for ED injections have the added side-effect of fibrosis. The problem is that few doctors recognize or understand Peyronies and the percentage is only slightly higher with urologists (per a study survey by Dr. Lawrence Levine PD specialist). Most urologist give out totally false information and waste crucial time telling men such things as "take vitamin E and wait 6 months to see what happens".

A new bend, curve, dent, bump, or loss of size is cause for serious concern and immediate action. Once the scarring starts it often does not stop when the injury stops. It can spread over the entire penis much like keloids or adhesions spread over healthy tissue. Whole blood leaking into healthy tissue can also trigger PD. If you insist on injecting, alternate sides. Also use compression over the injection site with thumb and forefinger for 5 full minutes minimum.

If you have ED, take a measurement of your Bone Pressed Stretched Flaccid Length and your erect girth measurement if you can. Assess your current structure with feel so you can identify changes. Most men find lumps, cord-like formations etc after they have PD but they have no idea what their penis really felt like before PD. If you start to deform, or lose size IT IS A WARNING TO ACT.

I run www.peyroniesforum.net and www.PeyroniesSociety.org so I am not here frequently. If you have questions send me a private message here or visit our site. You don't have to join to just to read the forum.

Best Wishes

Hi Kuliox, Have you thought of jelqing to straighten it, you can find lots of info on www.pegym.com about how it works and how it will help straighten your penis, and the bonus is you may gain some extra size from doing it.

jelqing is extremely dangerous. and all uros agree that its not an advisable alternative to straightening out your penis. and it can result in permanent impotence.
