Hi Agfa13,

I've had two surgeries so far.

The first four the implant and the second because the reservoir detached from the pump.

Surgery number three is because i think the pump was the problem all along. It no longer works, again.

I'll find out on Monday about the third surgery.

Rigicon 10 ax implant, with 22cm cylinders and a 110ml reservoir. That is pretty big:), but if you have issues, that can put a damper on things.
Please let us know what Dr. says as a replacement.
I was fitted with a 24cm AMS, and now I have a 20cm Titan, with a 75Ml reservoir.

Now had my meeting with the surgeon.

The Rigicon is going to be removed.

So, for sale, one Rigicon 22cm implant, never been used.

What's going in?

A Boston Scientific LGX.

He said that's usually too expensive for the NHS but I'm a special case.

Be about 2 to 3 weeks before he can do it due to covid etc

I'm quite relieved that he's gone for the tried and tested this time. It's too much to take another chance. I would want to change anyway. You've gone through enough with this new implant.

I didn't realise the lgx was more expensive. He didn't tell me that, feel even more grateful to the man now.

He said he'd see what was possible on the day

Mike will size you well. He will give you the optimum outcome.

If you oversize, then there is the risk of erosion.

You push the tunica to the natural limits.

A none return valve to stop auto inflation!

Now that sounds like an upgrade to me.

This one doesn't have it, or if it does, it's broken.

Recently been told by my surgeon that all surgery in Scotland is cancelled if not life threatening.

I thought i would have a weapon of mass destruction by now, but that's not to be the case.

So, I've got a broken nob.

One thing i thought i could use was my VED that has been gathering dust since the implant went in.

Are you still able to use those with an implant? I haven't seen it confirmed in black and white.

If i used that, then it might force liquid into the tubes. That might result in something interesting..........
