I second LeRoastBeef.
I too depress the button for about 4 seconds before I release. The buzz continues. For the first month of cycling I used to keep depressing the button till the buzz stops, then I read here that I don't need to keep depressing. If I depress the button for only 1 or 2 seconds, the deflate stops. This is useful when I am at max inflation and need to reduce the rigidity a little bit.

Man so sorry for all the cancer crud you are dealing with best of luck w that. Here are some great tips I picked up here, For squeezing the pump, make a fist with thumb up now cradle the pump bulb to your top finger and use your thumb as the pumping lever, the cradle keeps the bulb from slipping and your thumb is strong. The first pump will give you the pop. The bulb will soften over time, for me getting it too warm doesn’t help. Now with that first pump. Hold the base of your penis secure and bend the shaft in all four directions holding it in each point for a minute, Then try to ad a pump. You’ll be amazed that it pumps again after each bend cycle. Dr Clavell on YouTube ( I don’t know how to post links) has an excellent vid for this. Lastly Txagq has the math down! So you will get it all back.
Good luck bro

Thank you again for all the great information and positive vibes! Much appreciated. As for deflating, I hold the release button while I can hear and feel the buzz which is probably 3-4 seconds. Then I release and wait a few seconds. I press the release button once again quickly. Then I finally squeeze my penis shaft a few times and I can hear the remaining fluid drain out. Hope that helps. But I feel like it’s probably different a bit for everyone.

Re: New AMS 700 LGX - Growth Potential
Interesting reading as I have finally decided to "pull the trigger" and go with IPP. Scheduled for this December due to work requirements and other reasons. Will be an AMS 700 LGX which I had decided upon prior to doctor recommendation. Have tried everything with no real success, PDE5, VED, Quad and Tri-Mix. I am ready for this and would get it done tomorrow if logistically possible. IPP has been in my thoughts for around 2 years, just that mental and emotional back and forth. That hurdle is behind me. So, this subject is of most interest.
Second IPP Titan / Genesis. Experienced pretty much everything negative up to implant. Lost @ 2 inches from plication and atrophy. Willing to show and tell just an ordinary penis. Wish I had IPP much sooner.

Re: New AMS 700 LGX - Growth Potential
This thread really interests me. I had a lgx 700 implanted 4 months ago— 18cm+5cm. I was concerned about size but my surgeon seemed irritated by my concerns. I insisted on the LGX because it seemed like the best one to “grow”. Before surgery I was a pretty solid 6” with a respectable girth— good enough, right? After, it is definitely less— too neurotic to actually measure yet but can certainly tell it is not as it was. I am pretty good about cycling, not every day but at least 5 X a week. I live for the “pop” but don’t always get it and when that happens, nothing happens. My main concern about size originally had to do with that I am definitely a grower, not a shower, and the pull thing had me concerned. At 4 months I am definitely not back to normal but remain hopeful.

O
Mickey: I don’t want to sound like I am blowing smoke up your ass by telling you everything will be wonderful and that you have nothing to worry about. Every guy is different and as we have read lots of things occasionally fail to go as planned.
I can only go by my personal experience. You and I have the same hardware installed. LGX 18+5. I suppose individual variations can account for some difference but in truth, the prudent, reasonable individual would expect similar outcome.
It was slow. Sometimes agonizingly slow. The first 6 months was like a plateau of minimal gain and a pump that felt like a rock when squeezed.
After 6 months, the pump got easier to use although it certainly requires more push that I probably expected. It takes a whole lot of short, rhythmic squeezes to get to where I feel the cylinders really expand and stretch me out good.
As it stands, at the 20 month mark I’ve lost .3” length and .5” girth. To get it to the gnat’s ass in terms of measurements, I’ve gone from 6.85x6.0 ——-> 6.55x5.5.
Truthfully, I’m plenty okay with that. It looks good. Very proportional. And my erection angle is really great. I was at best horizontal before surgery, now it has a nice angle, pointing at 2 o’clock or maybe even 1:30.
I cannot guarantee your success will replicate mine. But I can reassure you that others got their size back late in the recovery process and while less than 100% of original size, it’s close enough and the functionality made it way more than a fair trade.
Good luck and don’t throw in towel. For me it took getting brave and pumping way more squeezes than I ever thought would be necessary.

Re: New AMS 700 LGX - Growth Potential
i don’t understand why anyone would put 5cm of RTEs. Thats crazy.
I would have much rather had a titan 24cm with a bit scraped off. i’ve heard that’s what Eid does. Also Mickey did you get a scrotal or pubic incision? I would go see a doc like Hakky.

6 inch girth is huge, I'm not surprised you lost some. Should have had a titan for that girth.
Interesting that your erection angle is good with 5 rte's. Normally they reduce angle.
I have an lgx700, my erection angle is 3 o'clock. Less than it was. I don't know if I have any rte's.
I am just over 5 inch girth, the same. Lost maybe 0.25 length. At 6.4.
Lgx was good for me because it suited my anatomy.
Anyway, 2 months out, I have had steady growth. How to gain more. Pump is getting better and better.

Thanks for this reply! Really helpful and encouraging. I don’t get the whole sizing thing. You started out with more (6.85x6 vs 6x5) and yet we got the same implant. As someone commented on this thread: 5rte sounds excessive.

The tubing is connected to the end of the cylinders, which I believe would fit the outer side of penis. If the doctor uses 22"+ 1 RTE, the tubing will be connected deep near the crux. That is why the length of RTEs is based on how deep the crus is.
