Yeah, I know. What’s your point? I didn’t mean it in a derogatory way.

Just having fun with it Brother, nothing more,it’s all good! :D

Yep :)
We are all in this together. But I believe we on FT are the luckiest of the unlucky people who suffered from ED or PD. The real unlucky people who are having nightmares from this but didn't know yet about implants or about FT.

AST2123, I might add another group to your list. The unluckiest of the unlucky group is a subset that just can't accept that the advice on FT is real & nearly always the best course of action. Like a drowning man that won't let you save him.

I just met a gentleman last week who was on FT for a while. He went and got his implant, and everything went great. He doesn't get on here anymore. He said there's no reason to. ED is a thing of the past for him. But yes, reading all the problem posts regarding implants would scare anyone. Keep in mind 98% of happy implanted men have no need to get on here whereas 98% of men with issues are on here looking for answers. I'm sure my numbers aren't quite accurate, but you get my point.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Most don't get on here after things go well unless they actually want to pass it on and help others.

Tubing issues here, multiple replacements in a short span of time there, lost inches, the works.

I really thought these devices were meant to be long-lasting, undetectable (unless you feel the pump) and allow one to retain their original size (depending on glans engorgement or not).

Is there any hope!

If revisions and mechanical failure are your biggest concerns you may consider semirigid implants.

I wouldn't say that. My research lead me to understand that erosion is a very real threat. With inflatable implants releasing the fluid lowers the "push" on both ends. Not so with the more rigid implants. Also, infections are possible with them.
I think the OP is sadly mistaken about the occurrence of his concerns. FT is heavily weighted towards the problems. Tomas1 & 68Catfan hit the reasons perfectly.
I've said it before & I'll repeat it again. If you go back & read some of the old timers posts after their implant surgery. You'll be surprised at how many of them complained about loss of size. Move forward to around the 1 year point & its almost shocking how they are reacting to their regained length.

I would agree with the notion that most of the guys on this forum of FT either have decisions to make about implants, or have upcoming implant procedures, or have issues with the implant they got. Otherwise most of them would not be on here. I am an example— I used to be on the injections forum and ignored this one. When injections failed me, I switched my attention and postings away from that forum and moved over to this one. So we are a small but vocal number of the guys who have implants and that’s who you are hearing from. Most of the guys are happy with their implants and leave this forum to move on with their lives. If that hopefully is my outcome, in time I will likely join the deserters from this forum. Just my thought fwiw.

I think I made a mistake choosing an RP instead of seeds to treat my prostate cancer which got me to this forum. There for I frequent this forum and a PC forum to help guys get knowledge about their situation. I think Lost Sheep is hear to help folks also. I like my implanted dick. Never lost length and my nerves that were destroyed are coming back to give me a blood filled warm red glans and rounder shape.

Almost 7 years with my implant I‘m extremely happy, so why should I daily visit FT and write something? In fact I only go to FT when I‘m bored. My implant became part of my body, I have one of the best dicks in the world.

People unhappy with their implant have done one serious mistake: they didn‘t go to the best surgeon but to a cheaper one and because they are lazy, they chose one as close to their home as possible. Well, I don‘t feel sad for those people, not in the least.

I‘m living in South Africa, however I travelled to Germany in order to have it done there because that surgeon is surely amongst the best.

Only get an implant if you have the money for one of the very very good surgeons, no matter how far away from you he is based.
