This is an opinion, based on conversations with my surgeon and readings of scholarly articles on the internet. Truth be known, now that my LGX is in and has been working like a champ > 2.5 years I don’t feel compelled to do much research. Don’t have as much time either, if you know what I mean and I think you do.

The LGX expands both length and girth. True.

The Titan is better for girth. True.

Under ordinary circumstances no implant is going to make you bigger than your anatomy will allow. Put more simply, the goal is to get you to where nature had you to begin with. This Is true of every model.

Surgeons dilate the hell out of your corporeal cavity while you’re knocked out in a valiant effort not to undersized you regardless of what they’re installing. But being oversized is not it’s own reward. Erosion where the cylinder end pokes thru the distal end of the corporeal cavity in the glans would be a gawd-awful mess to fix and I suspect reimplantation would be delayed, delicate, dicey, and would involve being undersized for eternity.

What the LGX really does best is emulate the function of your penis before an implant. Deflated, if shrinks. Mine goes down to 5 1/4, 5 1/2 ish. Yes, that’s a good sized softy, but it’s not an anomaly. Then, pumped up, it stretches me out to just shy of 6 3/4”. If you want to get down to the gnat’s ass. I was 6.85” pre-surgery. So I’ve lost a tenth of inch. That’s not anything I’m going to stick my head in a gas oven about.

I did lose 1/2” of girth with an LGX, from 6” to 5 1/2”.

When I pump up, I feel the stretch like I did when I would get an erection in class at age 16. You know the feeling tight before ejaculation….when it feels like everything is stretching and getting larger and harder right before your shoot? That’s what really pumping the LGX feels like to me.

So no, a surgeon will not fill you with a soft LGX and expect you to gain 1 1/2 inches when you pump. He will install a device that fits you erect without causing tissue fatigue and eventual erosion. Now, if some stretching occurs over time without erosion, and a guy ends up with minor incremental size gains, that’s okay. The surgeons aren’t selling that but there’s enough of us seeing that to think it might be a desirable side effect.

Realistic expectations. Yeah, we would like to be knocked out, have an implant installed, and wake up in recovery as Jonah Falcon. It doesn’t work that way.

Both AMS and Titan are great devices. Yes, a Titan might have preserved more of my girth. Maybe I’ll try one when I wear this LGX out. But this LGX did, for all intents and purposes, preserve my length. And even though I don’t mind being a shower there are some benefits to having a slightly smaller flaccid cock. Correct me if I’m wrong but to have a 6 3/4” long erect Titan I would also basically have to deal with a 6 3/4” flaccid Titan.
Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.

I think the take away here is that you're aiming for the Titan or LGX depending on preference, which is going to be a personal choice between Dr and patient.
The CX seems outdated, there isn't a role for it now.

The larger girth (above 5.5 inches) seem to need the Titan.
I'm just under 5.5 girth engorged, the LGX gave me a bit more than I previously had.
Implanted with AMS 700 lgx, 2021.

This video explains a lot on each model. I posted in the implant section and also member only.

With all due respect, I have to disagree with your evaluation of the CX. If it wasn't available, I'm not sure I could have accommodated an implant successfully. I had a severe case of Peyronie's with a plaque mass that covered 2/3 of the dorsal side, and a 60 degree plus curve. Because of the plaque restriction on my cavernosum, and the rigidity required to overcome the curve, even with the plaque plication, the CX was about it to solve my problems. Inserting one of the cylinders was very challenging for my surgeon, but he got it done. I now have an almost completely straight, stiff as a steel rod dick. There is a role for the CX depending on the man's anatomy. Just my opinion, experience.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

Can you still tell the placque is there after surgery? Did the surgeon do anything special to overcome the placque?

The doctor spent a great deal of time fracturing, breaking up the plaque mass. My surgery ran over 3 hours. Just glad I was asleep when he did it. Completely deflated/flaccid, I can still feel some small areas of plaque. When erect, not at all.

The titan seems to be the gold standard for peyronies.

Did he choose the CX due to the antibacterial coating?

About how much does the LGX grow in length?
Thank you.
Thinking of getting implant. Have not done it because of the length I
have lost.

My AMS CX placed in January 2022 has returned me to my original size (6.5" x 6.5"). Girth is maybe a little larger than before, and rigidity is like a rod. I would say there is still a place for AMS CX.

Concur with the group.....AMS700 CX is what I have.

I lost no length; I gained girth (a fully erect member)!

Moreover, there is not a true need to pump to capacity for maximum achievement.

Happy to discuss further if you'd like. PM me.
