It's a thing, and you don't need a baby to hit up Walmart and get socks for infants.
The glands are sensitive after the operation, baby socks add a nice layer of protection against unwanted rubbing. It's been on FT for years this recommendation, I tried it and that along with ice, were my go to treatments post surgery. I think Ice and Baby socks helped more than the meds, .... but I had a rather easy recovery compared to some.
Now, if you can take a month or two off work, just walking around naked would be the best. I still have kids in the house so that wasn't in the cards for me.
