There's os many causes for ED...
Of course, the future is bright for everything, given enough time. But i am afraid we'd all be dead before anything MAJOR changes, since this type of medicine isn't exactly "main stream", like say... dubious RNA flu vaccines or diabetes treatment are. So there's little research done, and little investment in the field.

I am still holding off from getting an implant tho, in hopes something new and less invasive/definitive comes my way, even tho the chances are slim.

I don't understand your reasoning. You're holding off on the implant until something better comes along, but you don't think something better will come along before you die.

If you enjoy your ED issues enough to wait for something better you'll have a long wait. If you want less invasive then get a mallabble like I did ..

Speaking of PDE5s, there's new PDE5 in the trials which is called Simmerafil (TPN171H). Another oral treatment would be CF602:

A new PDE5 inhibitor is always welcome, at least 11 have already been approved for ED but there are significant differences between them (e.g. side effects, duration).

I'm currently taking udenafil as needed, 30 min. before sex. It's similar to Cialis but fewer side effects. Udenafil is an approved ED treatment in several countries (e.g. Russia, South Korea).

CF602 is really exciting, I'd never heard of adenosine treatment for ED. Any other drug that could have a similar effect?

The future is indeed bright, so much progress has been made already.

My guess: because ED is a multifactorial condition, maybe some smart pharma company will invest in a future treatment that acts both centrally (i.e. the brain) and locally (i.e. the penis).

It’s really interesting to see how many new treatments are being explored for ED. From what I've gathered, stem cell therapy, gene therapy, and now even treatments like Botox are all being investigated. It’s exciting to think that something like CF602 or Simmerafil could bring some real innovation to the table.

Personally, I’ve found Viagra to be helpful over the years, but I can understand the frustration of relying on PDE5 inhibitors that only treat the symptoms. New technologies like neurostimulation or regenerative medicine could be game-changers for many of us who are looking for longer-term solutions or for those who don’t respond to pills as well anymore.

I’m holding out hope that we’ll see these advances come through sooner than we expect. It’s nice to know that the future of ED treatments is getting brighter!

I’ve tried both botox and stem cells. Botox seemed to help a bit, but the effect lasted just a few months and was not strong enough to fully resolve my issue and be satisfactory, even in combination with 20 mg cialis.

Stem cells had no effect on me. I did them at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama too, which is a very reputable center for them.
