Re: AMS + Tenacio pump journey
So I'm on Day 3 with incredible pain and swelling. I got the LGX + Tenacio.
On Day2 the dr removed the catheter and pulled down on the pump- I almost fainted from the pain. He also found the deflate button and released some fluid to help the penis lay down a little, but it still hurts. I tried to pull down the pump while in the shower, but no go. I'm too swollen; it will have to wait a couple days. The penile-scrotal incision is seeping a little, so I added a little non-stick gauze pad to soak up the fluid. It should clear up in a day or so. Since I'm so swollen and the cylinders are at ~25% full, urinating is a challenge and burns like hell...
I can see why folks complain about post-op length. I'm about 1/2 of pre-op length and girth; but everyone says it will stretch once you start cycling. I was told to leave it alone until my follow up, but at least keeping pulling the pump down.
Every day it's getting better.

Try a hot shower and get everything good and warm when trying to pull the pump down, also this works when you start cycling. Also fill out your signature on what you got and when you had it implanted.. the surgeon, etc..

Re: AMS + Tenacio pump journey
Day 5- still a lot of swelling and pain. I was able to pull the pump down just a little bit; I felt the tubes getting yanked. I couldn't find the block or the deflate button. My incision is healing and I'm starting to itch- so I know it's ok.
However- I have a hot spot where the pump bulb is chaffing on the bottom of the scrotum. I am pretty raw and can't stand anything touching it. I assume this will subside soon?
Anyone here looking for more advice... put a large pillow between your knees when trying to lie down...

you are half of your pre op length ? doens't sound right
what was your length before op and which LGX + rte did they install? Update your signature like mine
LGX 18 + 1, 90 cc. 2023/12
Pre-OP VED length: 5.5". Post-OP: 4". At 3 months post-op: 5".
Cycling with a lot of pain for the first 5 months, now improving
If you have a motorcycle or a bike stop using it (ED with motorcycle accident).

Hey, any updates? I am scheduled for surgery with theAMS 700 CX on the 5th of December and I may get the Tenacio pump, my surgeon is waiting for the provider's response.
30 years old French with ED caused by priapism episodes at the age of 15. Pills have lost most of their potency, injections work but are painful and not a long-term solution. Scheduled for an AMS 700 CX on 05/12/2024.

Re: AMS + Tenacio pump journey
Hope,
Nothing significant to report. Spent most of the weekend vacuum sealed to the recliner, watching football and trying to minimize the pain. I'm still swollen, sore, and keep trying to move the pump bulb away from the hot spot. I'm looking fwd to my hot tub after my incision heals soon.
I've tried pulling the pump down several times/day, but there is no movement.
I still have ~ 2wks before I start cycling.
Since the cylinders are partially inflated, peeing is a challenge. Don't try shaking your pecker after peeing- just grab some tp and dab it; expect to leak a little.
Good luck on your journey. Expect a fair amount of pain and discomfort- embrace the suck...
