I have the same experience with pills, they somehow work but if they do the erections fades quickly and do not allow me to have enjoyable sex. Sorry to hear about your stroke. Though I haven't had one myself, I can testify to the fact that pills are BAD for the heart when it comes to prolonged use. I have had my share of scares with them as they sometimes gave me this pinching sensation in the chest, together with a racing heartbeat. I am also convinced that pills gave me rosacea (I can associate my first rosacea episode with a period where I took A LOT of Cialis/Viagra last winter), and in any case, now that I have rosacea, pills give me bad flare-ups so I do not want to use them anymore (their effect has largely vanished anyways).
