Revisions and Size Loss

2 cm longer implant with revision, but 4 cm shorter penis. I don’t get it, but those are the numbers.

Hrc714, do you think this has to do with switching from AMS to Titan? Probably not, but I have no idea why you would lose four centimeters. Maybe atrophy? I see that four months went by before your revision surgery. Is that too long to be without a functioning implant?

My length was 8.5 inches before implant, 8 inches with ams, and a bit over 6 inches with titan. I don’t think atrophy was a cause as my leak was in the tubing and I was able to keep 70% inflated while waiting for revision. I went under with 8” penis and woke up 2 hours later at 6.2”.

The titan has way more girth than my ams, so it may be that the stretch that formally was used up for length, is now taken up by girth.

Very interesting. So basically you had an 8 inch penis with a 24.5cm implant and 6.2 inch penis with a 26cm implant, correct?

If you had to choose, would you rather keep the extra girth or the length? Or you don't really care?

How did you know that you had a leak in the tubing?

I was not able to pump to 100%. Each time I inflated was less. I noticed that if I left my penis inflated, I did not lose any more fluid. My conclusion was a leak in the circuit between the reservoir and the pump, and the circuit between pump and cylinder was intact. I left the inflation at max, which was by then 70%, and stayed that way until revision surgery.
