No fancy hospital. Outpatient center. Just a room inside a urology clinic.

For those wanting to know what Dr Hakky charges - his office told me on self pay it's $22,000 virgin implant ( meaning first time implant ) I told her my story and she checked with someone there and said it could run between $18,000 to $22,000 or more, maybe less depending on what needed to be done. That when I had the consult I could get a more thorough and accurate price based on my information and what the Dr determines needs to be done plus if any other services might need to be done ie reduction of fat pad, and the like. After I have setup and have my appointment I'll post back here what the Dr says needs to be done and what he thinks the charges will be. I won't be having an appointment until after I have the money from work in my account since I want to be sure I can afford to pay them.

Why 18-22k considering that your implant should be covered by ams warranty? Also sorry for ignorance but what is UMR exactly?
Hard flaccid syndrome since 2019. Trying to get better with conservative treatments but an implant is on my radar

It will probably be less depending on what he has to do and the fact that AMS is supposed to supply a replacement ( AMS might possibly pay more if it is truly a product defect and not a Drs mistake.) I'll find all that out when I actually have a meeting with him to discuss which will be after the money is in my account - I don't want any more unnecessary Drs bills. UMR is the insurance company my work goes through which is part of United Healthcare, well at least for my company they are the plan administrators because we are a self pay / self funded plan - fancy way of saying they're an insurance company but can't be held responsible or reported to your states insurance board.
