Really appreciate your thoughtful and balanced outlook here. You’re absolutely right -- doing your research, weighing perspectives, and finding a world-class surgeon you trust makes all the difference.

For me, that was Dr. Lawrence Levine out of Rush University in Chicago. He was beyond amazing—world class, best of the best. My surgery and revision experience with him could not have gone smoother, and I honestly sing his praises any chance I get. It gave me so much confidence knowing I was in the hands of someone at the very top of the field.

Like you said, once you’ve done your due diligence and chosen your path, it’s about leaning into the journey, letting go of the anxiety, and trusting the process. I’ve been able to fully enjoy my implant and it truly has been a life-changing gift.

Your mindset of being informed but also bold is spot on. That combination is powerful. You’re going to do great. Best of luck on your journey.

That’s awesome man. Dr Levine has been getting lots of praise here - and I really like his approach and mentality based on the experiences of DukeCicero as well. Duke went with the Genesis MPP after really talking things through with Dr Levine and weighing out the pros and cons. It’s great to see a surgeon that understands the merits of both IPPs and MPPs and how to weigh them out with the goals of the patient in mind.
Diagnosed with venous leak after having ED majority of my life. Grateful to have some answers, and considering both MPP and IPP as options.

Tooyoung:
The overall point of my post is simple.
Once you already have the implant, the best thing you can do for yourself is live your best life and enjoy it. Worrying day after day about when or how it might fail doesn’t change the outcome—it only steals your peace and your joy right now.

I’ve already been through a revision myself, and yes, it was frustrating when the first one failed. But the revision was much easier, and the reality is that this device has been nothing short of a godsend. I get perfect erections on demand, my wife and I are enjoying life and mind blowing sex that otherwise would have been impossible. I personally refuse to waste a single moment obsessing over “what if.”

Would I like better longevity? Of course....we all would. But already implanted....I am enjoying every second

Life is short. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow. The gift of this implant is freedom and confidence—don’t let fear rob you of that. When the time comes for a revision, you deal with it. Until then, squeeze every ounce of joy out of today.

tooyoung, stop with your negative bullshit. Do you realize that no one here takes you seriously anymore? Do you have no life? You're full of hate and negative thoughts. Is your private life that bad? What made you so unhappy

Tooyoung,
It’s important to note that implant revisions are classified as medically necessary procedures, not elective or cosmetic. Because of this, they are covered by both Medicare and private insurance. If a device fails, the revision process is considered part of the standard continuum of care, ensuring that patients are not left without treatment or expected to absorb the prohibitive costs themselves.
Also the quality and experience of your surgeon greatly factors into the infection rate.

Knowing this helps take some of the fear out of “what if” scenarios and allows us to focus on the benefits we have today rather than the uncertainty of the future.

I'm not responding to your negativity any longer. Best of luck on your journey

Guys, stop paying attention to the troll. That’s what’s feeds the internet trolls. Let him post his messages, just ignore. He’s the most stupid internet troll I’ve ever seen.

He’s running multiple accounts here spreading his conspiracy theories against the evil medical industry.

Exposed multiple times, confirmed.

For sure in his aluminium hat opinion Covid was a hoax, vaccines are bad, „they“ are controlling us from above and Tylenol is triggering autism

In the meantime I will be busy fucking my new hot Thai girl. See ya!

I know many men who are happy with their IPP, even here in Germany; you meet them on similar forums. But I've never seen anyone as pushy as Tooyoung. When you ride a motorcycle, you don't count the dead people on the side of the road. Then you're not allowed to ride anymore. And if you're at odds with the implant, you shouldn't have sex anymore and just keep quiet. Or you take the risk and risk revisions. Which is better?

Your wisdom doesn't interest me. Go scream in the woods, you're a disturbed troll. I'm closing my posts here now. Get on other people's nerves.

Troll: IPPs break quickly!
FT User: Yes, we know, it can happen. We have weighed up the risks and accept them. And in the meantime, we are having the best sex of our lives.
Troll: IPPs break quickly, don't you understand that? You are all stupid lemmings! You’re not allowed to have this opinion! You need to have my opinion!

Troll behavior as per definition. Delicious

I dont understand how this whole mess is generating.
People who prefer long term reliability will chose mpp.
People who prefer max size potential will chose ipp.
What's the point of screaming at each others?
Hard flaccid syndrome since 2019. Trying to get better with conservative treatments but an implant is on my radar
