Which implant did you choose?

Many say to use a VED (penis pump) to stretch/maintain your size. I spent the first three days on the couch, so made sure everything needed/wanted was close.

Thank you, brother. I appreciate the advice.
I’ve already started with the VED routine and I’m getting everything ready for recovery.
Grateful for the support here.

Congratulations!

I still have the voice mail saved of the insurance customer representative telling me my surgery was approved.

Yes, for guys like us with chronic ED, getting approved feels like finally seeing the light on the other side.

It can help get everything in the best shape to have the largest implant installed that will fit your anatomy.

What's a good daily VED routine for those 1-2 months pre surgery?

How many repetitions for how long?

How many days a week?

There are a lot of different views on this. You should ask if your surgeon has any recommendation and go with that.
Whatever your doctor tells you trumps anything I say, or anyone else.

I can only tell what I did, and if you search the forums you'll find a lot of variation on that.
So, I was already using a VED for both sex and post prostatectomy penile rehab before I booked my implant surgery.
I had gotten to the point that nothing else worked, and even the VED was only a very marginal, partial solution for PIV sex.

Once my surgery was scheduled I started pumping with the VED a minimum of twice a day. I did that for about 5 weeks.
I would usually aim for 20 minute sessions, but sometimes up to 30 minutes. I would pump to hopefully a safe level, but aiming to maximize stretch.
My technique was to pump slowly, to avoid having my balls sucked into the tube, and to minimise any bruising or other temporary damage from overdoing it. Once fully pumped I would just leave it there for the duration of the session, then deflate. I didn't use the repetitions approach.
On as many days as I could I did three sessions, especially during the last couple of weeks before surgery.
I stopped 24 hours before the procedure, and made sure the last few sessions were less aggressive to avoid any injury that might jeopardize things.

Congratulations. Nick.

Way to go, brother!
Any advice I can give to you this early on is to get prepared physically as well as mentally
to what your body and mind are soon to be going thru.

This is NOT an infected toenail....this is the Major Leagues.
Expect a good level of discomfort for a few weeks.
In the meantime,
I would start physically exercising and doing some form of cardio.

I found alot of my pre-surgery angst could be greatly alleviated by simply being physically
exhausted after a tough workout.

You are about to become one of us.

It's good to have you with us.
Best wishes to you during these holidays.

Congratulations! Glad to hear the good news from insurance instead of all the horror stories. Do what the Dr asks, VED if allowed ( Dr Hakky had me do it twice a day ) it will help get you the maximum size your body can handle. Again glad to see you getting a positive response from insurance.

Yay Nick!
Glad you got it approved and you’ll get this Monkey off your back!
It makes me sad, when I hear guys that have gone years and years with ED.
