It's good to be informed.
It's good to compare experiences with others.
It's good to second guess your Dr and ask tough questions when needed.
It's good to get a second, third, and even more opinions until you are satisfied and have a good level of comfort.
Always be ready to replace your Dr when things don't line up. I accept that ultimately I am responsible for the quality of my healthcare.

For me -- I never automatically trust any healthcare professional, or any other professional, just because of their title.
