Osbon Tension Band.

Hi. I'm new here so bear with me. Got a VCD via Medicare, but the ring with handles broke after 3 days use. Am kinda bummed for that as I had 3 days of a "new era boner", now the medium tight one will have to do. Looking at Osborn site as recommended here I am bummed by the prices, am only on ssdi at age 64 so it takes time to save this kinda money, but in 1-3 weeks shall buy one. Those 3 days gave me a feeling of ejaculant is coming but I pooped out before it can ever occur if it ever could as the rings are tight circular so constriction is definitely preventing ejaculation.
My question is, will the medium size standard tension Osbon slide over the cone of these VCD's? (I'm supposing term "VCD" means there is a cone and a slide off mechanism, which is my "Reclaim" system Medicare paid for me, as opposed to VED terminology).
Hope to hear of a reply on my question or any other commentary help.

Hi Jaybo. Unfortunately the rings do not last forever. Make sure that you are not using any lube with a petroleum base (vaseline) because it rots the rubber. Have a look at noogleberry.com they ship worldwide and 6 rings are only about $18. Even the smallest rings will stretch to fit on all the usual tubes. Best of luck. Thanks bluewhippet, low price for a set and no postage, hot! Just what I wanted. Now if they only made it with a cutout u-notch, guess I try Osborn next round.
Doctors fear being like Michael Jackson's doctor if they prescribe injections or Viagra with such as me with atherosclerosis and diabetes2, thats why this route is it for me.

My only concern about those cheapos listed on that page is, are they just silicone rings (with a little food coloring added?).

If they are silicone, I don't think they'll last much longer than your current rings -- which are also silicone, right?

The Osbon rings are some kind of super rubber -- not silicone -- so they last a long time if you treat them right. I have some pink and grey osbons that have lasted for 2+ years of hard use. (the tan ones last .. but are not as durable as the pink or greys).
Still using them a few times a week and they have to fit over a huge diameter (>2" OD) tube. So they will be a good investment even if they ain't cheap.

Also you will need 2 osbons to really work well and long enough for actual intercourse use.
A tan + pink .. or pink + pink . or pink +grey -- Almost any combo of two rings will do it. I use two small ones (pink + grey) right now which is about as tight as you can get em .. and there's no leakage really even with vigorous rubbings ....

Do they really allow ejaculant flow easily? If so would be worth experimenting with.

I have been using the two smallest osbon bands for about 6 months. Only once during that time was I able to have normal ejulaction, the rest of the time I had an ejulaction when I was done but the bands kept it in the penis until they were removed. The ejulaction feels the same it just is confined until the bands are remove. I don't see this as a problem.

I only use one Osbon so when I orgasm I can usually "force" (heavy kegeling) out about 1/2 of the load. The rest flows out on its own after removing the band.

Hmmm, well if that cutout ring is made of rubber then it can't be same quality as Osbon's, otherwise Osborn is ripping us.

I am an engineer by profession so after some of the recent posts on this subject I decided to conduct a little experiment to see if I could only use one ring. The first I tried was to use only one Osbon ring (the tightest) and see how long I could maintain my erection. Next I pumped up and installed the second tightest Osbon ring . Note I had the first Osbon ring installed during the second pumping session, that's what is nice about the Osbon rings they will fit inside most tubes.
Ok here are the results:
With one ring I pumped up like normal and reached my mark on the tube and installed the ring. The first thing I noticed was my penis was not as hard as with two ring, but it was hard enough to have intercourse. However, after 1 ½ minutes it had deflated to the point that intercourse would have been difficult and at 5 to 6 minutes is was totally deflated.
I then pumped up and installed the second ring and after removing the tube I was as hard as normal, lets call this 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. After 8 minutes I was 9.5, after after 10 I would say I was 9, after 12 minutes I was a 8, after 14 minutes I was 7 and after 16 minutes I was 6.
I feel that I could have had normal intercourse up to the 14 minute mark but at 16 minutes intercourse would have been difficult. My plan was to pump up again and determine if I could get back to the initial hardness of 10, however before I could do this my 30 minutes were up.
Needless to say I am going to stick with the two tightest rings and be thankful that pumping works and I am able to have sex with my wife.
