My original doc used a Titan 22cm and cut the proximal (the part that goes into your body) and the erection went straight up. He does it all the time so more of the inflated part of the cylinders are inside your body. It worked great until it started to erode because it was too long. If I didn't do a repair & replace it would have come out the tip!

That comment ("It worked great until it started to erode because it was too long") would seem to suggest that your problems were just the oversized length, and not the sharp ends that resulted from trimming the proximal end?
Also your comment ("He does it all the time") would seem to suggest that despite the ugly appearance, the sharp tips would not ordinarily cause a problem?
Or, am I missing something?
