I am in a similar situation for work. Doc said to give it a week. Surgery is July 2 (Thursday) and I am off till the 13th. Good to know about sleeping. Luckily Im a back sleeper. Are you needing any special shorts or a jock strap? I was told I would need to wear a strap for several days. I plan to spend a lot of time on the couch for a while
Glad yours is going well. Keep it up (pun intended)!
I will be glad to hear how Pockie made out with his surgery. He should be in the recovery room by now.

So many responses and support. I love this community.
Here's how things went:
I went to the hospital at 6:45 AM, they were prepping me for an hour or so. I was given spinal anesthesia and sedated so that
I sleep throughout the surgery. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.
There was some pain and discomfort when I woke up from anesthesia, at times I was nauseous.
I was given some meds there and monitored for a few hours. Around 2PM I was already given the green light to back to my hotel.
I remember talking to the surgeon post-op, but due to amount of meds I had in me, I don't remember anything he said, I was semi-conscious at the time, it was a blur.
So I called him after I got to the hotel. He said he considers the surgery a great success, and that everything went well.
Pre-surgery I stated to the surgeon that length is very important for me, so the surgeon took extra effort measuring me and prepping everything. He said that he was initially planning on using a 22 cm implant, but during surgery he saw that I have a bigger capacity so he implanted a 24 CM titan. He said that he looked at multiple options - a 22cm implant, a 22cm implant + RTE, and a 24 cm implant. I'm extremely pleased that he went with the biggest option.
The penis is all bandaged up and I cannot see it due to the bandages. I'm with a cathether which is pretty cool, I can lay on my bed watch TV and drink sodas like a boss, without even going to the bathroom - HAH!
What is extremely shocking to me is that I'm basically pain-free at the moment, only 6 hours after the surgery. I thought it was gonna hurt like hell. I took tylenol and oxy so this probably helped. At the moment I'm in zero pain and feeling great!

Good man! Glad to hear things are going ok. Here's hoping the pain stays away!
Find a good movie on tv and relax. You gave me an idea to talk to my surgeon just before surgery about what length he plans to use. If we're going to all this trouble it may as well be big as possible. My dad always said 'go big or go home' in about every situation. Guess i finally have an application for that bit of wisdom.
Be well.

They give you a jockstrap. I didn't like it however I have underarmour boxer-briefs that function as such so it was the perfect fit. I quit wearing those on Day 5.
And yes, you will have zero issues being a back sleeper! You are lucky
Sounds like pockie is off to a good start! Yes pockie, I was stunned regarding the pain. This board had me pretty scared. I even talked to a urologist I met a couple weeks ago and he told me I would be in a lot of pain. Looks like we dodged a huge bullet. I took my pain meds every four hours as directed for the first 24 hours so I'm not sure that's why I didn't, but each time I took it I never once felt like I needed it.

As far as length is concerned, best bet would be to go with an experienced high volume surgeon. The inexperienced ones usually choose a smaller implant because it's a much safer bet, hence some people lose literally half their lenght. The good surgeons are much more aggressive with their sizing.
I don't know what my size is post surgery because I'm bandaged up. But the fact that the surgeon tested different sizes and chose the max possible for me 24cm is a good sign.
I'll specify the size as soon as I'm able to measure.

Did you know your length before hand? Sounds to me like 7 & a half

I think the reason why so many people had a bad time is due to age + other factors. Many of the implantees are over 60 years old, thus their body is more fragile, way harder to recover.
I'm 29, in good health - workout at the gym regularly with a solid amount of muscle, so from what I've read - this helps greatly during recover. Older, as well overweight patients, smokers, drinkers have a worse time.
I'm assuming you're younger and in good shape?

Most I've measured was 7.25, though it is usually around 6.75-7 on a consistent basis,
However, it's a bit trickier. I have an upward bend, so the capacity is bigger than what I'm measuring.
Flaccid stretched length was almost as much as the erect length.
I know that I'll lose some, but as long as it is a reasonable half inch loss I'll be happy. I'd be pretty devastated if it's like 5" or something like that. We'll find out very soon
Re: 12 hours left *gulp*
Most I got was 7 clean (and that was a couple weeks ago) and I ended up with 23cm. So it sounds like we are right on track. I don't care if I lose if that thing is hard. I don't think it would be more than a half inch anyway.

That's great, we're pretty much the same. I'm glad it worked out well for you! Have you measured yet post surgery? If so, what were the numbers
