My wife for one is very ticked off about the loss of length. 1/4 inch may not be a big deal but there are many on the the boards who report losing an inch or more which in some cases is 20-25% of their length. When you end up with a 25% shorter dick THAT IS A MAJOR ISSUE! Then follow up that with loss of girth from the spongiform not engorging any more on some and neither you nor your wife will be in a pleasant mood.
Choose your surgeon well. Some appear to be lazy, some don't give a damn, some do not seem to understand anatomical and mechanical construction, some stack up parts inside like they are using up leftovers to get them out of the house. Do not chose a doctor with an 'It's not my body so I don't care" attitude.
What doctor did you use? I am only 5.25" long, so even 1/4" would be a disaster.
I've heard good things about Kramer in Baltimore. I think I will use him.
This is a major concern of mine.
I too couldn't afford to lose anything. Dr. Kramer's office assured me I wouldn't lose length, but of course, I won't know until the 6-month point because it takes that long. You can read a summary of my experience on the thread "Dr. Kramer, Baltimore." On that thread there is a before picture and one taken at 53 days (now). You can read my whole journey on the thread "JB's Implant Journal."
What type of implant should I get?
Re: What type of implant should I get?
62 years old. ED for years. High BP and meds have done me in. AMS 700 CX /3.0 cm RTE Implanted by Andrew Kramer on 10/12/16. Involved revision to relocate tubes and pump performed 12/29/16 by Dr. Knoll of Nashville, TN.

I used Milam at Vanderbilt and lost about an inch and 1/4. I think donbecker lost a similar amount at the same doctor from his surgery the following day. I had an LGX. Mr. Becker had a Coloplast so brand is likely not the issue here. I would be at Kramer's office first available meet if he only took my insurance. I think Kramer is a wise choice as likely would be a couple others. Be well. Get hard and happy.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
Re: What type of implant should I get?
I had the same experience with Milam. His assistant performed my stretch test (7 1/4 inches) but I ended up with six inches (if pumped 40+ times and if I have taken a viagra for glans engorgement). LGX 700 device. But maybe I would have had the same result with any other surgeon, though??
Re: What type of implant should I get?
Dr. Kramer measures during surgery. If you watch his videos you will see. I can't imagine a doctor basing the length of an implant solely on a stretch test. Dr. Kramer measures and measures again.

Re: What type of implant should I get?
I love my AMS/LGX as I am getting all my size back slowly. I try to pump at least once a day and if I can I will inflate twice. When on my back as you can see it stands straight up and standing it is a 3 o'clock erection. I am most please at how easy it has become to deflate and even then you have some bulge which I have seem some women looking at. Get the LGX have Dr. Kramer do and you will be very pleased.

Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.
Re: What type of implant should I get?
Bottom line is tell the doc you want the biggest baddest mofo he can find. Kramer seems to have a good rep. An issue with his work is rare considering the number of implants he does. Milam on the other hand has an increasingly longer list all the time of bad results. The doctor you choose rules your fate more than the type of implant I think.
