The Physician Finder here - http://www.franktalk.org/findAPhysician.php
Lists some of the top docs in the country. We are FAR from done, but these guys have all been vetted and they do not ask us to be on the list, we ask them!

I'm glad that this list is "far from done". I refuse to accept that there is not one Dr. listed in Michigan with the exception of the south east part. There must be at least one in Grand Rapids that stands out a little.

Paul, this list is a great idea, but I would offer the thought that in the West and in much of sparsely populated rural America, 60 miles is not a reasonable standard. In such places, it's a given that if you need any sort of rarefied speciality care, you're going to travel well over 100 miles, maybe over 200. We live with it. Even at such distances, guys in rural states would be interested in knowing about the medical talent in Portland or Denver or Missoula.

As a Westerner, I sometimes drive more than 60 miles to take my wife out to dinner — and we drive home the same evening.

I am surprised that there is only one doctor listed in FT's physician finder in Baltimore (and it's not Kramer), when I know that there are quite a few prosthetic urologists in this area who have happy patients (my own urologist included). I'm not quite sure how names are put on the finder. Anybody have any details?

No one in San Diego County , California is listed.
my surgeon Dr. Jordan Siegal who specializes in Penile Implants at La Jolla, Ca. is not listed, neither is Dr. Irwin Goldstein in San Diego, Calif. who was intervied by Larry King a few years ago.
66 year old from Southern Calif. with Diabetes

Nudist, if you want an implant in central FL, Dr. Carrion in Tampa seems to be the gold standard. Even Dr. Caesar in Cape Coral recommends him. That is, unless you want to travel a few hours, and then I recommend Dr. Caesar.

Just because they are a great urologist doesn't mean they are a great implant surgeon. Who does the vetting? How are they vetted.
66 YO, Implant 6/7/2017 at University of Maryland by Dr. Andrew Kramer, High Volume Implant And world class surgeon. AMS 700. Great expierence with zero complications.

Bigred, As I am sure you know, there is no formal vetting process. Most of us make suggestions based on the implant experience of themselves and others here on FT. I, for one, have been seeing a fine Urologist for about 15 years, but I didn't use him for my implant. I sought out a Urologist who is much younger and has done a zillion implants.
