I just posted the instructions here in the implants discussion with the title "Double-Handed Inflation"

I came so close to using a pair of pliers in the beginning until somebody gave these instructions. They work very well and I still use both hands regularly out of force of habit.

Yes a good warm shower does help, but I'll tell you this... No there won't be much difference between 2 weeks and 7 weeks. Over the course of about a year, to 1.5 years it WILL get much easier (provided you practice it a couple of times a day, religiously). Don't expect to check it every day or even week and expect to notice the difference. Gauge it at 6 month intervals and you should notice the difference.
