Meeting my urologist in 2015 to discuss my next step, he offered m Pentamix or an implant. But that, just as the various pills and Caverject I'd used, Pentamix would most likely stop working for me in about 6 months also. That's when I opted for my implant.

For you guy using so-called rocket fuel , (100 or 80 of prostaglandin) how many units are you using? I am using 30-2-30 mix 65 units getting a usable erection many be a 8 or 8+ ,getting a significant amount of aching. Wouid a higher mixture low units

Frank, I'd guess you would use a good deal less for each shot.
It's a trial and error deal.

Right now I'm having some problems, and I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't mental, or alcohol related. It seems if I have too many beers the day before, it's tougher to have a satisfactory session.

I wouldn't jump right up to 100 from 30. There are formulas between the 2 that I have used. What I'm trying to say is don't jump up to quickly. I'm sure your doc would be able to guide you there?

On the mono-mix I'm on which is straight alprostadil at 80 mc/ml I'm currently using 8 to 10 units. I find 8 to 10 units is a nice volume to deal with. It's not so small it's difficult to measure out but small enough to fit in a .3 ml syringe with ease. The plungers on the little syringes depress very easily.

Hey Frank,

It's impossible to predict how a change in formula will affect you. I have been on injections since 2014 and have just now worked my way up to 100-3-30. I once was on one of the so-called standard mixes at 30-1-10. I was using up to 125 units (yes, two needle pricks). Even then the erections weren't satisfying.

Now with higher levels of the drug I am down to just 30 units for an erection that will last about 90 minutes. For a quickie, I can inject 10 units and get a half hour. Even at that low dosage, the firmness and quality of the erection is the same as if I had injected 30 units.

In your case Frank, it seems to me that you're getting pretty good results from your 30-2-30 mix. An 8+ erection is not bad. You should see your urologist and explain that you want to step up from an 8-9 erection to a 9-10 erection but you want less ache and fewer units per injection. Follow the doc's advice on how to proceed.

Aching used to be bothersome for me, but it really isn't an issue now, even as I have moved up to stronger formulas. I started taking a Tylenol or two about 20 minutes before injecting and that really helped.

I wonder how much difference the 3mg vs 1mg of the Phen makes?
Mine is similar to your's other than that and mine adds the
Atropine. I guess they add the Atropine in case we get hit by a nerve gas attack

We finally had a decent outing yesterday, but it was with a 7 or 8.
Afterwards when it didn't matter, I sat around for an hour or so with a 9.

Wife seems to like the nooners but really doesn't open up about it.

Cigar, have you tried the new juice yet? I see my uro tomorrow and I'm toying with the idea of trying something new although the mono-mix seems to work fine. Maybe an 80/3/10?

I have to order my new script by mail order and haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll let you know when I try it for the first time.

When you meet with your uro, ask about an 80-2-30 or 80-3-30 mix. When I move up I try to strengthen all three drugs for maximum improvement. Talk about it with your doctor to decide what's best for you. Let us know how it turns out!

I need to refill my prescription soon , I am think of e-mail my doc for a new prescription, may be 30-2-50(50 prostaglandin) or 30-3-50 I thing this should be a good step up. any thought ?
