The firm mass on the right side of my sack is stubborn. It *might* be decreasing a small amount, but if so it's very slow. I talked to Hakky and he wants me to ice it aggressively and try to stay off my feet as much as possible. I have an appointment with him next Wednesday, we agreed it can wait until them to see if it resolves by then. If not he'll probably do an ultrasound to look around.

He said it's either pure hematoma or a back bleed along the tubes from the reservoir. Either condition should resolve itself eventually. My primary worry is that the damaged tissue will become scar tissue and be permanent, or the pooled blood will abcess.

Thanks for the update man - I hope it starts showing more significant improvement for you soon.

How has Hakky and his team’s support been throughout your healing process? Do you feel like they’ve been very responsive?

Yeah, they have been really good. Hakky gives you a number to text him if anything bad happens post-op -- it goes directly to him and he's fast to respond to it. Honestly I've probably abused that more than I should have, but he's been a very good sport about it. And if you need more hands-on service he does have a pricey concierge service like some other surgeons that gives you more immediate access to him.

His staff has also been great and they are super friendly. Before the surgery I would sometimes have to ping them twice to get things done, but since surgery they have been very good and responsive. There may be just be a triage situation going on where folks who've had surgery have a bit more priority with their requests, which makes sense over some random guy who may or may not end up as their patient.

One great thing is that if Hakky has any doubt about what's going on, he'll get you in and actually examine you, instead of assuming he knows from your complaint what's wrong. This led to me driving three times in a week to Atlanta to see him and get labs and confirm things, but it was worth it for the peace of mind.

This is all fantastic to know, thanks Elbow.

I’m hoping that for you this stretch is the worst of it, and that things start to smooth next few weeks!!

Update for day 16 post-op:

It's not dead. I was able to masturbate to orgasm. I was doing my daily cycling, one thing led to another, and well, it still works. :D

That was the first time I've had an orgasm with no pills, shots, rings, pumps, or other assistance (other than an expensive implant!) in years. So yay me. Remember kids, men who orgasm at least 21 times per month have much lower rates of prostate cancer!

It’s definitely a big step! I was able to repeat the next day, so it wasn’t a fluke. 8-)

Day 19 Update:

I’m diligently doing my cycling, twice a day. The goal is to inflate as hard as I can and leave it that way for 30min. That is a challenge, but it does seem to be getting better. Yesterday I could only manage 20min before crying uncle at max inflation (pumped until pump too hard to move, then some Perito exercises and add a couple more mini-pumps).

This morning I was able to make the full 30min, barely.

At high inflation I get shaft pain, like you’d get if you had priapism and your dick was too hard for too long. That starts pretty fast, within 5min of near-max inflation. I also get a mild burning in the glans, I guess from the tips at the top of the corpora. That begins about ten minutes in. I also have some tightness in my perineum, from the proximal implant tips buried there. That can make it a little tender to sit on, and if I tighten my pelvic floor muscles that tightness gets much stronger and becomes mildly painful.

All these are common pains for the newly implanted, so I’m just going to keep marching forward and trust that over time this will resolve itself.

Elbow, you’re doing great! I wasn’t even cycling at the stage you’re at. I started at 6 weeks and I thought the pain would never go away. I was so worried that it wouldn’t.
Do you have a big enough tub where you can get in and cover your Johnson with hot soothing water?
Besides doing cycling in the shower twice a day. I would get in a large tub and do perito type exercises at 70 percent and then after 5 minutes I would pump up to tbe max and see how long I could go without crying uncle. You’re way ahead on the healing process!
At 4 weeks, I would have pain in my perineum when sitting in hard chairs. It just takes time.

Keep healing up brother,

Elbow: you are making great progress, definitely ahead of where I was this early in the healing.
Be patient. Inflate to the point of mild discomfort assuming you reach that point before MAX. You can stay there for a good amount of time and then add another pump. Wait a few minutes and add another pump. You can sort of sneak up on MAX and not get that intense ache as soon. I know what you mean by time to say uncle.
