I’m now in the camp that I wouldn’t believe anything IndianRasputin says. Thanks @niceguy1, for sharing your IPP vs MPP experience. I have the same diameter Genesis rods and haven’t had any buckling or folding. Your complaints are concerning. Thank you for sharing and being brutally honest. Maybe it's time for Coloplast to fix this problem.

If an MPP’s max 13 mm diameter is notably smaller than the corporal diameter i.e., not a finger-in-glove fit, it’s probably not the right prosthesis for that person. I have a tight fit and didn't suffer girth loss issues.

Personally, I like staying hard all the time, it fits my introverted and WFH lifestyle. The only reason I’d consider an IPP is the potential for increased sensation by deflating to 80% and for some tunica stretching to boost stimulation during intercourse, which might help me climax faster. I do experience delayed ejaculation with my MPP, but I’m enjoying the journey and end result 100%.

I’d love to get my dick on an IPP, though I might not stick with it if it doesn’t last at least 10 years. For me, reliability with 80% performance beats peak horsepower at the expense of reliability. If my future less then 10 year lifespan IPP fails, it would be a good opportunity to try a Tactra. Ready2go's Tactra review is also inspiring to me.

CautiouslyOptimistic went from Genesis to Tactra and has expressed greatest satisfaction with that model, citing the “hardness.” JH2007 is a literal pornstar, so that’s a good affirmation for the integrity of the Tactra. The Tactra might be the safest bet generally speaking for malleables.

They reported the "feel" post-op, not the actual experience. And Justin Hunt(JH2007) isn’t active in the industry anymore. Honestly, I’d take his feedback with a grain of salt—his dick is way bigger than any malleable, so it probably wobbled a lot just from inevitable undersizing.

I’m still waiting on feedback from cautiouslyoptimistic though.

So far, there’s zero feedback confirming that Tactra can even bend, even slightly.

I asked one of them about buckling and whether any positions became difficult with Genesis, and his reply was, “I’m cutting grass now and my partner’s at the grocery store.”.... WTF?
Maybe fake positive feedback just follows the “whatever helps me sleep at night” rule?

Don't tell people about fake positive feedback when you don't know, of course you have to read between the lines on a lot of posts, but it piss's me off when someone tells me I give a shitty answer to anything.
I'm always a straight forward person that doesn't hold back on the facts no matter what they are, trust me if my MPP wasn't preforming at it's best I would be on here letting members know,,,,, but when I find something in this world that actually works as it is suppose too I appreciate it and want to pass my experience on to others.

custom-made tactra ? Where do you get that done?
i would lke one with 15mm rods , the shah does that by putting on sleeve over their 13mm rod if i remember right .

Seems all bendable malleable rods can be bent or buckled by a skilled hand/partner or whatever.

Questions that implanters should get better at:

What’s the axial buckling load for each one?
What's the bending force?
What's the bend cycle count to reach fatigue failure?
What's the percentage variance between MPP brands?

These rods have been on the market for 6+ years, yet there isn’t a single comparative study or journal article with hard numbers.

Did you look up Shah rods from India? They have a 15mm version, and Dr. Raman Tanwar has a good reputation. It has no metal to fatigue also. I don't know about the axial rigidity compared to Tactra. Most guys can’t stow them downward, only upwards.
