This is a AMS IPP doctor conference that is on implants in complicated cases. Diabetic, Peyronies, infection. It’s got a lot of good information.

If you don’t want to look at the whole video jump to the 25:00 mark to the 30:00 section. This is Implant doctors discussion about the LGX and being able to gain some lost size. One doctor asks the panel Why use the LGX if we size the cylinders at max length of patients Penis?

Also talks about the VED use after implant.

If one has a pre operation size of 8.5 x 6.5 which implant would be preferred? Thanks.

First, you need to measure your length by the medical standard method. The final & real measuring is done when you're on the table.
Depite many popular opinions. Several companies make models to fit you. Be aware that severe peyronies can cause length loss that might not be recoverable.

Impossible to say for certain without more information, usually discovered only during the implant operation. First of all, it is the dimensions of the INSIDE of your penis that matters. Secondly, if specific conditions of your penis dictate, the Coloplast (which is made of a material that is stiffer, even when uninflated) might be preferred.

Best guesses are often correct, so frank66665 may be correct, but there is a significant degree of uncertainty that deserves to be acknowledged.

Thank you very much. I don’t have Peyronies. I am confident in my external measurements but did not know about the inside measurements criteria. I use Trimix now but am encouraged by the positive reports on this forum. Like most here I don’t want to lose my size if possible. I am also pleased how many wives and partners are supportive and enjoy sex after the procedure.

thanks for the explanation lost sheep, but mostly I happened to read and see some videos that said that usually a large penis due to its heaviness is an ideal candidate for a titan coloplast, then I read and watched videos of implatologists who said that the model the implant is chosen by the implantologist on the basis of the anatomy and the patient hangs, then I always have the doubt? why did antonini who is a high volume implantologist in italy chose the titan for me without having visited me?

You're welcome, frank6665

I had the same question (why that model vs another) when the first surgeon I consulted advised I was a good cndidate for an AMS LGX on my first visit and on a later visit recommended Coloplast Titan. Without explaining why the change of mind.

Generally, the greater a cross-section of a column (larger girth), the greater the beam strength of that column and the greater the resistance to bucling, even if the material of which the columns being compared is the same. That is Civil Engineering. Look up "Beam Strength", "Column Strength and Column Buckling Failure" and such.

I had not heard of heaviness/weight/mass being a factor, but I have heard of size (length and girth) being a factor in choice of implant.
