How many still use VED after implant?

Do you know if you have tip extenders also on top of the 21 cm units? I have a 18cm with 2cm rear tip extenders. Just curious.

I thought about you said so what I did was measure how much my glans extends beyond the tips of the cylinders and its about 3cm. I'm not sure how much of my implant is proximal, but that's where I think the inch beyond the actual cylinder length comes in. I can feel the tips go up into the base of the glans. I think it helps keep it from being floppy at the tip. I took a pic and drew some lines to give you a point of reference to kinda give you a visual to see what I mean.

I didn't even think about the glands extending past the cylinders, of course that makes sense, thanks for the reply! I told my doc I wanted him to use the 22 cm cylinders because those (22 cm and above) have the widest diameter and I want the most girth I can get. I measure 16 cm when using the VED (trying to get it to 17 cm before the surgery in two weeks) and I figured 16 cm on the outside and 7 cm inside the body come to 23 cm but I forgot that the cylinders don't go all the way to the end so getting 22 cm cylinders might be cutting it close.

I haven't got my implant yet (surgery in two weeks 10/12/12) but was hoping for 22 cm cylinders, see my reply above. 22cm will be a tight fit I'm guessing, so I doubt he'll use extenders. Do the extenders ever come loose or dislodged, or do they snap on to the cylinders? Just curious.

The extenders fit/snap onto the rear of the cylinder ... no it is not an issue ...

One note here ... you can not use the size you get erect from VED to estimate Implant length ... nor can you estimate your length ("I figured 16 cm on the outside and 7 cm inside") that way. Don't be so fixated on your size, but rather on having a working member again!

Hey. Did you have much swelling after implant? How long before swelling started going down?

I had some swelling for about a week. Sore and really tender in the scrotum for about two weeks. Ice works well for the swelling and warm compress for the tenderness. Try 2lbs. Dry rice in a tube sock warmed for 1 minute in the microwave. Not too hot! Feels really great an forms around stuff really well.

Well its kinda of a long story about size. Before my injury I had healthy 8"x6" erections, that was back in 2002. After 10 years of nothingness my doc could just stretch it out to 5". No erections had caused a lot of atrophy. But he said that there had been some success in regaining lost size so he put me on an 8 week pre-implant rehab with a VED to see how much lost size I could regain. I went from 5" in the VED to 7.5" in the VED two days before surgery. On implant day the PA was able to stretch it to about 6.5". He told me I could expected anywhere from 5-6". When I asked why such a difference from the VED size he told me that I had to consider that with the implant the glans would not engorge like it does with the VED. It has taken a little getting used to on my part, but being able to have intercourse again has made my wife and I really happy. I don't worry about size anymore... Life is so much better now !

I am about to get my inplant my first appointment is Feb 17 I hope that i am surgery the following month . I have a question I have pumped for meany years alway tring to keep my junk maxed out I am seeing those cylinders looking like party Balloons and Thinking i MIGHT BREAK THEN PUMPINGIKE i DID. i thinl from watching the surgery videos Some look like a thicker silicone material I would like to pump some after te surgery to max out the benifits . I will be looking for any help Ican get to have the right device . I think the soft flaccid look is nice but a little inflation extra might be nice also Tell me what you think John I am in Western NY Fredonia 14063 if any one is in the area
