About how much does the LGX grow in length?

It depends; if you are sized well then it will give you what you had before. As long as you haven't suffered years of atrophy, and/or scar tissue build up.

The idea is that it will keep expanding until the corpora can't be stretched anymore.
You may gain a bit of length over what you had. Perhaps not.
It's best to hope for a return to what you once had.

I do not have any numbers or studies on the CX but the amount of expansion of the LGX depends on the size of the implant. The 18 and 21 cm LGX numbers are shown in Table 1 in this report: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5654325/ The CX is stiffer than the LGX to straighten curvatures. This is for doctors that do only AMS products. The Titan is best for this as it is the stiffest and should be used in more severe cases. As this thread moved to add the Titan, Table 1 also shows the Titan 18 and 22 cm devices. You will notice that the Titan does expand in length a little bit but far less than the LGX. As for girth you can see the 21lgx and 22 Titan are very close. And that the 18 cm Titan is the greatest for girth by a wide margin than any of the others.

I had both brands, Titan and CX and I have exactly same girth with both brands. Both, Titan and CX gave me 5.5 inches of girth.
Only difference: CX is way more comfortable inflated and deflated. CX has very natural flaccid look and feel very naturally so natural that I’m an not even aware I have something in my penis.

An important question is why Boston Scientific introduced the LGX model rather than working on improving the CX, while Coloplast is having only one 3-piece model?
My guess is with (no size fits all), they worked on addressing issues that can't be solved with CX, but with limitations. Stiffness and elasticity are difficult to have in the same model. That is why LGX is more elastic but isn't strong enough beyond 21cm. CX can go up to 24cm and Titan up to 28cm.
Like Apple and Samsung have different models going in parallel, I believe AMS will continue producing and improving these 2 models. Coloplast may also come up with a second model that address the flaccid state issue.
