Re: Implanted 30/04/25 (Belgium)
I have an appointment in 8 days to remove stitches and for deflating and then 2 weeks later an appointment for activation but as I'm well healing maybe that activation will come sooner

I was knocked out for my implant, but a couple of years ago had plastic surgery - a small skin graft on my face.
That was under local anesthesia and I could feel what the surgeon was doing, but no pain at all.
I don't think body fat will affect the proximal measurement. For the overall length they are measuring along the cavernosal and bulbar urethral areas, which are internal well below any fat layers. You may be thinking of apparent visual distal (external) length. External fat layers can make the penis "look" shorter, but the actual length is a fixed thing no matter what body type you have. I'm curious about the formula you read about though. Where did you see it?
Hi lgx, I searched a little bit further and found on internet on a French website that the non visible part of the penis is something in average between 4 and 6 cm. I looked through the forum and seems to be correct with other brothers measurements.
Hi Nico,
I think you mean inches, not cm? My proximal (internal) measurement was either 10 cm or 11 cm, so a little over 4 inches. Yes, I think between 4 and 6 inches is probably an average range.
No I mean cm. This is not the measurements that docs are taking but anatomical measurements of the hidden part of the penis (what is hided inside). The docs take the measurements somewhere from the scrotum and depends where there can be a difference I guess.

Day 6 update
Swelling is almost gone and dog ears are less annoying since a gave it some pumps
What hurts is the glans that is very warm. I'll put some ice today to calm that heat down.
I think that during night blanket friction accentuated inflammation. Just hoping that's not an infection.

I've only just got over my paranoia about infection in the last week or so, as my incision now looks to be completely closed over. Looking at the glans photos you posted elsewhere there doesn't seem to be any obvious signs of infection. It sounds like you are doing well, but if really concerned about anything it never hurts to contact your medical team.
71 y.o. married from Sydney Oz. PC and nerve sparing RRP 2022, but still profound ED since. Tried pills, injections, shockwave therapy, VED. Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery going well.

I'm not familiar with that measurement. Do you have a link that explains it?

I'm paranoid also even if tell myself that everything seems nice the fear of infection is trivial. Thks

Here an article that don't mention the numbers but I asked chat gpt who tells that in anatomy the root size of the penis is of that range.

Re: Implanted 30/04/25 (Belgium)
Day 7
No hematoma at all since operation and quite not swollen at all.
Major concern is about my glans that is hyper sensitive and that I can't stay with my penis all the way up for other than laying down. If I leave it up when I'm standing it hurts and my penis warms up and swals a bit so I keep at 3 o clock when I'm standing.
I advanced my appointment to tomorrow instead of next week as I'm healing fine and have been able to pump and feel the release valve without any pain.
Stitches are always there, they should fall alone in some days.
Tomorrow Dr deflates the cylinders for 2 weeks and then I'll be cleared for cycling.
Keep you updated,

Re: Implanted 30/04/25 (Belgium)
Was surfing a bit and found that
Longueur du pénis en traction (cm) | Taille d’implant fréquemment utilisée (cm)
--------------------------------------|-------------------------------------------
10–12 | 14–16
12–14 | 16–18
14–16 | 18–20
16–18 | 20–22
>18 | 22–24+
Penis size | frequently implant used it's not a imperious measure but gives some idea. Seems good to me.

How is your glans doing now Nico? Did it calm down? No infection I hope.
